Every season I've taken all the questions about my tactics thrown at me and answered them flawlessly, it's time to put my knowledge to the test! We have the team, we just need a few tweaks that I can make and we will be #1!

I was in a B league thank you very much

my focus is not on my team, I have over 10 million in my bank and I am very content just watching the games as they are and not advancing up

My strength is not in successfully playing the market, it is in tactics, which is why I believe I would be perfect for the USA National team

why don't you perhaps try U-21 then? Surely you could enjoy that more?

U21 has too many age things going on for me

Gotta have your years playing 19 year olds to simply get them exp so they'll be better later on

My tactics are for the best of the best

I fail to see that logic as you'll be utilizing the best of the best to a certain age. You don't need to be using 19yo against 21s even with our small userbase.. And how is that any different playing a 25yr old against someone who is 28 on an NT?

I think it is a perfect training ground for learning the ropes of the NT. Furthermore, I fail to see why you stay in C-League all these seasons. Beating up on bots and new players when you clearly could promote. Since you choose to not promote, what reason should I vote for you then? I want to see a successful NT team led by a competent manager who challenges him/herself

The development difference between a 25 and 28 is much less and they generally have a much better base at that age

My tactics are very focused around speed and technique and then additional skills are always nice

I don't want to have to deal with a 19 year old who is still developing and can't keep up with my tactics

If enough people feel I should try U21 to show off what I have then I'll do that but I'm just trying to do what I feel is best. Heck, maybe our U21 does have enough skill for my team.

As for not promoting it's because as I stated before I am market retarded. In hattrick I was leading Div IV after a couple years of on/off play and to even get to that point I had to struggle simply because of my marketing decisions/bad luck. I trained defenders for a whole year planning to sell them at 2 mill a pop like they were when I started and then the market dropped over the year and by the time selling came around they were only worth 800K a piece. I was forced to sell them due to wages and in need of money and then I started to train midfielders. The market took off for everybody but midfielders and once again I made no profit while the defenders were worth 2.5 mill each around that time. I continued to make poor trades throughout all of this and frankly I just didn't want to put up with all of that on this site as well.

For my last point I just want to say Coaching a team and managing a team are quite different.

I consider myself a full blown coach. When it comes to juniors and buying and selling I'm nothing but as a coach is where I shine and that's what a NT needs

You do realize that you have a very weak argument. No national team will have a significant advantage with speed or technique. I agree that if you wanted a chance to run a NT you would be much better suited for the U21. Also, if you are too lazy to improve your own team and compete with the top teams that have better tactics, than why would you be good finding NT players??? You have never played against teams that have good tactics so the fact that you believe you excel at tactics is ridiculous since you have not been able to prove that you are able to beat better teams with our tactics.

I've watched so many of the WC games and every game I watch I see something I would have done differently that would've put someone in a better position to do something. You act as if I base my tactics on my C and B level experience, well I don't. It's all based on NT level competition

It is easy to say you would do something differently watching the game as almost every manager at that level changes their tactics each match to try and get the best outcome. It is a guessing game of sorts. And watching your games you can critique where you put your players. Nobody can be in the right spot all the time. And your tactics that you use in C league are completely different from what you would be using at higher levels. Your test tactic is actually quite horrible and has gaps in it every where. In my opinion you do not have the experience dealing with higher level players so it is hard to say you are good at tactics when you have never had players to play the type of tactics you would need to play at the NT level to compete.

And you never answered my question as to if you are too lazy to go search the transfer list to upgrade your team and play tougher competition, how would you find new players that are good enough to play on the NT or are prospects for the future? And since you base your tactics on speed and technique, what would happen when other teams have better attributes or the same attributes as you, which happens often on the NT level.

I felt your comment was an insult not a question. You simply said I'm too lazy to go search the transferlist to upgrade my team. That's not true at all, I'm not lazy, I'm just very bad when it comes to making marketing decisions. I can go find plenty of good players but I either over pay for them cause I get locked in a bid war or I let them go when I should've kept bidding. Or the market drops when I try and sell and picks up when I go to buy. I simply am just bad at buying and selling


And my tactics very much come from technique and speed yes but I also would change tactics depending on other teams. If I feel the need to play an offsides trap to accommodate varying levels of speed I will. If my midfielders dont have a chance of beating a player technically then I won't play them as close in my offense and rather focus my efforts on things like crosses. My tactics wouldn't just be set once and left for every NT team but I would study each team and vary the tactics depending on their strengths and weaknesses

This thread would have been even funnier if you started it two days later on April Fools.

It would be like "Aw I'm going to lose, April Fools I'm actually smart and would lead the team to winning the WC final"

Just because someone is in Major League it doesn't mean they are the only people who should be able to coach our team to victory.

Thats like a high school basketball coach going to coach the US national team... it just doesnt happen. you have to prove yourself and move your way up.
