i know, its nice to see one of my juniors up there. glad i sold tucker to a good trainer. he would have been a waste on my team since i train defense.

Comfortable 3-1 win, as expected NZ used there 3 21 year olds at there 3 most offensive positions. Shame about Hale injury, but he should only miss less than 1 week training.

I think a country like NZ doesn't do itself due justice by requesting that 21 year olds play. Its the younger prospects that need the playing time, not the players who may never sniff the national team after the u21 career is over.

Tucker is only 19??? god, he will be a U21 worldbeater at age 21, assuming he keeps training.
all four strikers rated very close.

yup, he is going to be a beast. We seem to get 1 Monster a season, last season it was Hale.

Thank you thank you. =)

I just re-opened my YS last week as well after shutting down a few weeks after the YS changes.

likewise with me. I am not convinced that financially there is a positive cash flow, taking coaches salary and wages into account.
Now I just want to see if I can get some more players that can be trained to help the U21 and NAT team.

I've only had 1 youth make u21 squad. I believe it was the original unofficial youth team. So i'm overdue I think.

Ya, the trainer for Tucker is really good too. He has bid a bunch on young strikers and I was lucky to sell him to the guy. he was willing to pay 4.8 million as a 17 year old and has done that with a bunch of different players. He is talented enough that the guy has said he wants to keep him and train until he is one of the top forwards, so hopefully that works.

He keeps him updated regularly and he knows what he is doing. I would put him on my preferred trainers list if I had one.

The guy who has Hale is the same way. Really good at managing his players and I think he's got some of the best 20yr old mids(according to Best-Of threads) in his team.

yes, unfortunately when he went up for sale He didn't fit my training plans.

*thinks about showing off his top 19 yr old*

looking back though, would you have given me the same $$$ that I did get for him?
2010-05-24 00:21:16
No, he still didn't fit my training plans. I was tempted even so.
