DOH. Forgot about that. Ok, my argument stands - losing on average 2 weeks of training is excessive too. 10 days - you only lost one of them.

It's not what I have seen...

We can't make any conclusions without the real stats.
2006-04-27 14:37:57
Please publish the real stats, that will put a lot of users at rest (maybe).

I'm not developer and I don't have access to those stats.

Something from forum:

Some stats, comparing to last season cup matches exactly 16 weeks ago (1st week of the national cups):

Injures per match: rised +22% (only!!! not 5 times or something)
Goals per match: dropped -5% (not rised!!)
Yellow cards: rised +31% (but was too rare before...)
Red cards: rised +34% (but was too rare before...)

So, it's no big deal, but complaining (especially on polish forum) like the end of the world :)

Ehh... probably if nothing was changed complaining would be the same (becouse injures, becouse bugs ect..)... hm... we have to do it someday - it would be interesting sociological experiment ;)

PS. example:

+ 22% means:

assumming that before was aproximately 1.0 something per match, then now it is 1.22 something per match

I just guess, Max, that the consensus is that the amount and duration are both too high.

IMHO, this is a game where people are to enjoy themselves, and if this many injuries are drastically harming the enjoyment of the game for many people (and i think the people being hurt by it are obviously a loud minority, but still), it should be reduced.

I think it should be less injuries than irl. Having injuries in the game is realistic, but not to the point where they make the game less fun.

I agree,

Especially for this reason:

In this game you must cross-train to be successfull and injuries makes it difficult to do it effectively.

A stiriker also need tech, def and even PM and I used to cross train them in friendlies, now it's too risky.

Re: doubleplaying for friendly crosstraining, i absolutely know what you mean. I've been playing 2 of my skilled defensive midders as defenders in league (including one guy who's NT-calibur) and then getting them training in cup. That's making me nervous.
2006-04-27 17:59:46
yeah i've been doing that too...and i have paid a price for it with 2 20 day injuries
2006-04-27 18:59:27
I'm not "cross" training at all. I'm trying to decide week by week what I want to train, and then using my lineup to maximize who trains where without double playing anyone. Of course, since I'm out of the cup, it doesn't matter if I decide to train technique to my defenders and then load up my defenders in my friendly with PM's and strikers....

If my striker Bing is still slightly injured I'll have him standing still and running away from the ball in my next cup game.

I don't like risking a loss to a bot, but I can't afford to lose Bing for another 4 weeks.
2006-04-28 15:20:59
You know, that is not such a bad idea. Do the schoolboy tactic, where everyone runs to one corner and stays there the whole match. THAT would be safe!
2006-04-28 15:57:09
I'll only have Bing doing that. If the is sent to his side, he's supposed to switch to the other side. I'll be happy if he never touches the ball.

I should still win against the bot, but the league is more important to me this season.
2006-04-28 16:28:33
It would certainly make a point :)

just lost one of my best midfielders for 14 days..... this game is just getting gayer
2006-05-01 02:10:29
Quit making excuses for why you'll lose to me next week. It's beneath you.
