Just for the record, both those were in the same game, for a total of 49 days.
:(
:(
1) I lost my best PM for 31 days two games back.
2) To avoid injury to my best forward, who is getting cross trained in tech this week, I set up a formation where he hides in a corner on defense NO MATTER WHERE the ball goes. If he somehow gets hurt while sitting still in the mud by the corner kick box, then there is something wrong....

If the ball comes to the his corner, have him run away to the opposite corner. If he's close to the ball he'll try to get it and might do something crazy, like run up the field and get injured.
I'm worried if he runs away he'll trip over a teammate and get injured for 32 days or some nonsense like that.
lol,
Have another player with faster pace and PM next to him. He'll get to the ball faster.
Speaking of PM:
I noticed that all players need PM:
Strikers: shoot and react quicker to get the ball. I noticed that some of my fast striker were thinking about where to go before taking off.
Defenders: Reacts to intercept the ball quicker (specially when defending against throw-ins, corners, FKs) and help with counter-attacks.
Even Keeper: Reacts to intercept the loose balls faster.
But if you try to cross-train you risk injuring your trainees.

I'm going to be very interested in how my RUN AWAY RUN AWAY strategy works today. If it does well, EVERY non-pace or stamina training friendly will have people in ridiculous spots. That way I can cross train PM too.
Lost my keeper for 3 weeks on Sunday, lost my Central Defender in the Cup today.
Are injuries too frequent or what?

My hide in the corner strategy worked perfectly. I'm doing it from now on for any a-team players that play in friendlies. Of course, that will make my record in the forthcoming Babes Cup pathetic, but what can you do?
I may do that with all my players, i had an injury today to a trainee in my friendly... :P
It's better to have worthless players running around because the closest player to the ball will try to play it and risk getting injured.
I'm still in the cup, can't do that yet!

YESS I am finally out of the cup so I can paly my "friendlies"
I don't mind my drones chasing the ball. But from now on all double-played players are going to RUNAWAYRUNAWAY!
When danger reared its ugly head, Sebastian Zborowski bravely turned his tail and fled.
BUMP
