Subject: NT vs Croatia

Tomorrow we face Croatia in the top teams tournament.

We need a win to have any chance of progressing after some horrible luck in earlier games.

Edit after watching match: I think we did great in creating opportunities to score and the result seemed to be about right when you compare really decent shots with goals scored. However, I feel like the defensive tactics were not properly set for this matchup. It seemed they spread their offense out while we clustered our defense together and just too many times they broke through down the wing, got a cross off to a center forward who luckily shot like crap or our keeper made a good save. It seemed to be a very flat back the they exposed.

that's just me being the negative nancy though, congrats on the win!

I tend to agree about the defence, usually the wide midfielders cuts off the passing oppurtunities towards the wing, but it didn't work as effectively as usual yesterday.

I did have issues with injuries, I hadn't set my player orders up correctly (ie. whether a player is a DEF, MID or ATT). As a result we spent nearly the whole game with a midfielder playing up-front and a striker in midfield!
