Subject: [NT] vs Mexico
I don't trust the mexican community after what the mexican user "wiga" said...
he's part of the mexican community so he isn't reliable :p jk he's koo one of the most reliable players here in sokker that i know of.
So I just finished the first half...impressive finishing on our part. I'm not a big fan of Mexico's tactic to be honest, wish we could get more through balls though but our midfield in this game is pretty quiet. I think the 5-2-3 should've been a 4-3-3 or a 5-3-2 possibly. Our wing so far hasn't created any real chances and the few times we've gotten the ball past their defense we either scored or they would clear it out to the middle where they had their players but we never really had any players there to keep the ball in their half. It was kind of a freebie to get it out and put the pressure back on us.
2nd half
Already starting at their 3rd goal, they get a clear straight pass through to their forward (who has to beat the defender on the ball and turns and shoots). I think we needed another midfielder rather than that 5 back, someone to either get in the way of that pass or to pressure or make a tackle on that midfielder.
Still pretty unimpressed with presley over on that wing.
a lot of this game i can't make too much comment on because it was supposed to be U25 and mexico played their actual team.
One thing I did like about your tactic is when the ball would shift to the sides, the defenders would really step up a lot to make it a 4-3-3, but I think when the ball was in the middle maybe you needed (if you were going to keep the 5-2-3) to push up one of the central defenders and squeeze in a little bit
3-4, not a terrible result considering they cheated :)

We looked unimpressive all over the pitch, but then again we did give up EIGHT rating points.
yea exactly that's why I didn't feel very good commenting on this match lol
You are always talking about how I should run a different formation. If was psychic and could predict what formation the opponent was running I could load up the defense where they are attacking. Without that information It would be just a guess and would leave me vulnerable in other places. You know, I just thought of something, thats what happened to you and Fla against Moldova!
oh sure why not, what fun is it if we are not dumping and adding 15 players every week.
