Last a friendly before the 2nd stage of group play

they are supposedly using there "b-c team"

I decided to use U29 players and we can get a look at a some players who will contribute in the immediate future.

Don't pay any attention to the lack of midfield sub on the bench....

lol only because you mentioned to not pay attention to the lack of MID sub will I leave you alone for that

Alrighty looks like it's going to be a good game. I like how we are ballsy enough to rub it in their face that we don't need a mid sub to beat them.

1. Very interesting formation. That is a very very tight field!!

doesn't look like many players from either team move a lot when the ball is in the middle

6' - WOOHOO thank goodness for a slow defender so we're not offsides!!

7' AND WE HURT THEM! WOOT! GO USA

I like the pace of our defenders, definitely allows us to play that line way up there

Also Dag, remind me I need to ask you a question about a tactic you made

21' - Wow look at how tight that field is, everyone is within 3 blocks of each other lengthwise lol

I'm going to go ahead and say good choice on the wide winger even though I haven't seen a crazy amount from him, simply because this field is tight and it needs to be spread out one way or another

31' - Nice through ball, also...GOALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

You're going to have to show me how you always get the perfect timed runs cause that was your specialty too in U21 from what I remember

36' - :( Bogus
38' - I love it when their team has a breakaway to tie the game and the player decides he would rather pass the ball into trouble than take the 1 on 1

49' - Good job goalie!


Next 10 minutes - let's play the pass the ball around the midfield game

61' - YAYAY!!! nice goal

68' - And that kids is why you always follow up!

82' - Our keeper has made some really good saves this game

Hmm nothing crazy exciting beyond that 4th goal

Nice win Dag, down a few rating points, no mid sub, but quite a solid performance. You were smart to play that winger, really helped out the team. I think what really helped us is that finally our team started to makes chances they were supposed to make (unlike our U21 team recently...). Was good to see the USA put away a few chances as well as DiMaria make some really great saves.

Also I think Fla should look at the couple times they had the ball down in our wings to see how you spread the defense to cover in the box.
