Subject: [U21] Dagwood

I look forward to returning to the u21 squad after a brief stint with the NT.

I come back with a clear direction for the team. To find and train our best youths for the national team and the U21 team. Its obvious to me after spending a season with the NT how important the U21 squad is for the NT. I plan on making the squad the best it can be with the best of my abilities. I invite you all to join me in making the USA the best it can be, or just tag along for the ride. Either way it should be fun!

Question: In what aspects did you find coaching the NT different from the U21 team and how are you going to be more successful with the position in the cup that fla has given you?

The biggest difference would be the overall balance of the line ups. The best starter isn't that much better than the worst starter. In U21 the difference can be significant.

What did Fla do that I didn't? I WON the group with a lesser squad my last term. Do you think he would of finished 2nd without our help?

You helped him with the everyday things with the job, but he always ran everything by me before finalizing the tactic.

And generally we both agreed on the same stuff and fla always wanted to rebel against us :)


But no I was talking about carrying over the difficulty you had with the US team into the U21 team and asking how you are going to recover ;)

I made it to the knock out round and am leaving the club ranked 8th. I can't recall what it was when I took over, seems like 7-9 range?

Yeah you clearly did not have control of the team with all those red cards and hot tempers.

Just like Wade Phillips and the Dallas Cowboys being the most penalized team in the league, look where he's at now, fired.

But nah I'm glad to see you running for U21, you did a really good job last time :)
