Interesting conversation in the sokker international forum... what do you guys think?

1 team agreed with other coach to play with b team so that there are no injuries for the Champions Cup and the other team did a walkover.

I mean while it does stink to be every other team in the CC, if you can convince a team to play their B team or walkover or whatever, more power to you.

it's a weasel move, but the management of the game isn't in the business of forcing teams to play.

Heck, the NFL has teams that sit people in the last game if needed and their schedule is finalized.

I agree. Especially if they can convince someone to do that. We all find ourselves in situations sometimes we benefit from it, other times not. It's part of the beauty of the game really .."do I play for training and/or to win" vs: "do I sit some peeps to assure their health". Anybody here who's played for multiple seasons has had some key injuries that could have been avoided. The option to protect their health status is nice to have. I'd do what it took to field a strong healthy team if I was involved in Champions Cup.

I wish everybody would always let me win. I could really use the boost in supporter mood.
