If you find out post the details, I doubt I can do it because of lack of time, but maybe somebody else would be interested.
great newbie guide Slammy, gives the basics plus some more without laying out too many things that are better left earned imo, esp like that new players can contact you for more in depth advice on their games. You should be USA tutor.

What does a tutor do? I can mentor a newbie or two but I do not have time for more...
Ok ill share some of my ideas:
-Registering in Hattrick (there are like 4000 users there in the USA) and spam their ht-mails with advertising to join sokker and newbie guide like the one slammy posted.
-Registering in other soccer manager games and do the same.
Im planning on doing this some time next week or the following one.
Another ideas:
-Registering in very popular forums, especially the ones concerning internet and sports games, and advertise without spaming, just creating a normal thread about this game.
-Registering in college forums and doing the same, in forums that have to do with gaming and such.
These are just some ideas, the first ones im going to do it but next week or the following one.
The most important thing is to KEEP those players who decided to join sokker, because we already know that more than half of the people that register in this game, end up retiring in less than a week. Its because the devs are too dumb to realize the skin, layout, etc are horrible and some options are just hiding and new users will feel like walking a labyrinth just to get where they want (ie: tactics options). Why in Gods name is the tactics option inside the training option? Can someone answer me this question? what were the devs thinking!?. This is the best soccer manager game in the whole internet and yet its potential is being wasted due to the incapacity of the devs to listen to their users and actually change this small things for better. In other words, the content of this game is GREAT but the cover is CRAP. Only those of us brave enough to go deep into the content of this game have realized the greatness of this game, but most people dont know what they are missing simply because the layout, page design, skin, etc are total CRAP, and so they just retire in the very first days.

Yeah thats what I was thinking lol, I will need a whole morning to do that and in one go because no doubt im getting banned lol.

yeah if you have osokker and mouse over some links then there is a popup with the links on that next page. so you can get to tactics with one click by mousing over the training gif, or a teams matches/players pages by doing the same on their name.
of course that should be possible in a good interface already but whatever..

you can do that in non osokker as well, takes like 1 second to see the pop up though, takes about the same time as 2 clicks. it should have its own gif

1. Only answer questions in a language you speak fluently.
2. If you do not know the answer to the users questions please ask other tutors in the language threads within the tutor forum.
3. Tutors are to answer questions, but in some cases other members of staff are allowed to help out. (Agreeable per country or per language)
4. Please be patient and courteous to all users questions when replying.
5. If a user is clearly misusing the tutor message area please inform a mod or admin.

How does that work? Is there some notification when new users join and then you send it yoursefl or does the message get sent automatically...or what?
I don't want to sign up for something that has me hunting around for new users every day.
