ok first draft of newbie welcome message is up in the newbie forum, ideas and suggestions welcome, I'll start sending it to new users later tonight.
Ok, that "Welcome Mail" posted by Uriah in the newbie forum is very good. It can be the one to be sk-mailed to new users when they join. It is short and it leads to very useful links.
we need something like an interactive tutorial (ie. "click on the player icon, this is your team, now click on the phone, this is where you can place ads for friendlies..
This interactive tutorial sounds very good. I think we can make a small interactive tutorial with the following points:
-What each icon in the menu is for. (ie: first icon is the sokker main page, second icon the team main page, third icon the players list, etc)
Something like this:
...and so on.
Note: I used Dagwood´s club page because of the hot blonde girl on the left. Im sure that will help motivate new users to keep watching the interactive tutorial hahaha im just kidding... hmm or maybe im not? lol :P
-How to create a tactic.
-How to buy and sell players.
-How to arrange friendlies (indirectly: posting your ad, checking other ads; and directly: going to a team club page and clicking in his matches and challenging them there).
-Etc...
At the end of the interactive tutorial we provide links to slammys newbie guide, rules, forums, etc.
We can put this "Interactive tutorial" in some sort of power point file, in which with only one click, you can move to the next image. Or anyone else has a better idea?
By the way, by next weekend I will be sending the massive ht-mails in HT USA to invite people to join sokker.

Well I guess that Sokker auto mail is good enough. Anyone else agree?
well I think there's a little bit of burnout on this topic atm, there's only so much we can do.
Like they say, you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink, so we can send out the links and offer avenues for help to enterprising players willing to reach out, but in the end it is in their hands.
I think your idea about spamming hattrick is great, you'll get banned, but really who cares, that game sucks. Make sure you get your money's worth while you can.

By the way guys, I havent done the spamming yet. But ill do it soon. Dont worry, im just having some "technical" difficulties hehe. Sooner than later we will see a flood of new users here, I dont know how many, but im sure we will have new members in the following weeks.
This is a great community and deserves to have more users/teams.

Well good news, my friend Connman just told me that he sent a lot of ht-mails promoting sokker. Lets hope to see some new users around. :D
