All
All, now that Dagwood has decided to move on I want to throw my hat back in the ring as the U21 manager. After a rocky start I did manage to get us into the U21 World Cup for this past season, so I am confident in my ability.
That said, the current squad (of which of 3 of my current squad are members - 2 purchased and one from my youth squad) is not as strong as it has been in the past and I look at this as a project, not a one year type thing. Ultimately I would like to hold this position for several seasons and help build the side for future competitions. My past experience as U21 coach (I only chose not to run again as Dag was the right man for the job last season) I feel I can offer a lot to the team. I think it is vital we have a domestic coach running the program.
Please fire away any questions.
Thanks.

*non-bump* I'm voting for Makedon I like his attitude! haha
Being that you went into NomadiGAZracer's topic and asked him about his qualifications.... With your Sub-Par record, what makes you think that you are more qualified than Mario T?
Subpar? You making it to the Major League for two seasons? Interesting way you look at things.
Pretty simple, team got off to a bad start, and since it was veteran to begin with, I sold off a majority of my players midseason to build for the future, as it was not sustainable if I made no changes. I would call that prudent as opposed to subpar, but you are entitled to your opinion.
That said, why am I more qualified? Pretty simple Smirker, I already have taken the U21s through qualifying stages into a U21 World Cup. Kind of hard to refute that I am not qualified as I have walked the walk already.
I am not sure what your grudge with me is, but pretty much from day 1 when I took over from Dagwood you have been critical. I fail to see why you just don't run. And just so you do not let the facts get in the way of your fiction our two losses to Bulgaria were NOT under my watch.

I wasn't asking about your ML record.
When I checked the U21 Matches page, it has the team's results listed as 0 wins, 2 losses and 1 Draw in their last matches against Romania, France and Belgium.
I had thought you were the manager, but now I am checking the team page and it lists Dagwood as the manager, so my head is 5 feet up my arse. I apologize, I had thought you won the election the last time and you were running to be re-elected.
When was the qualification period, I'm not sure why I don't see the results under the matches.

Thank you for revisiting the info.... my role was two seasons ago. I got us into the WC through qualifying not the cup itself. Here is the info, not sure how to access the info either. We finished one point behind England I believe if not even, but lost on goal differential.

How have I been degrading to you?
All I've done is question your ability, it took you 10 seasons to get to the ML. I questioned that the last time you ran. I'm sorry but I don't think that that's very good, being that you were one of the early players to start playing this game.
The other was looking at the Matches page and not seeing your record correctly, which I still can't, so I dont know what's up.
Congratulations on qualifying.
