Subject: Match Engine changes

I like the changes also. One of my defenders made a forward pass to himself near the side line and the ball went out of bounds.

I love the changes they compliment my teams speed lol

The only problem I saw was my forward liked to lead himself towards defenders. It will be interesting to see against real competition though as the defenders I was playing against were slow and bad .

in the 30th min of my cup match the other teams defender almost biked an own goal in from the 18 lol

This forward passing in my match was so eratic and mostly done at un-needed times. Other times it was done out of bounds. There was one nice play where my player used it to create space and then took a shot on goal.

i really like the way they used the launch for short passes... one of my biggest problems with the game was how difficult and slow it was for players to use short passes. this really improved the play between my forwards who would use the launch almost as give and goes... which is really sick. i also felt that overall control of the ball was better, and advancement was faster. (i was playing against a really slow team though hahah). but in one case my winger launched it ahead of a defender, ran past him, and didn't even give him the chance to make a tackle.

only on one occasion did the launch go out of bounds, which is kind of annoying.

Two of my strikers loved using this against the slow defenders we faced I actually LOL'd a couple times. Once my guy took it in just after crossing midfield, moved the ball towards goal fast with a series of several of these passes in a row. Nice engine changes I think.

my winger spitz with his superdivine tech had some really nice handles on him with the LnR in the CC yesterday, tightrope walking ability down the sideline

i guess some of you misunderstood the new rule about the juniors. the 20 yo juniors can still play in the games but they have to be trainable i.e. they cannot be ready to join your main team

Launch and run

When a player sees there is space to run into he may launch a ball ahead of him, to run more quickly compared to dribbling with the ball at his feet. How precisely he launches the ball depends on technique and experience.

Seems pm decides when to launch and run?
