i don't train stamina in the between weeks anymore either. but when i was a c league team and most of my players were well below formidable, it was very useful. especially since you are guaranteed pops for all those below formidable. and it does make a sizable difference in you teams performance at that level.
I have 1 player at formidable stamina - the rest are at "good" or below!
in that case I'd give them at least a week or two in the offseason, if you can find a coach with unearthly in stamina and pace (or whatever you plan on training) it will save you the trouble of having to hire one just for that. His wage will be a little higher though, iirc I bought one who was brilliant/unearthly stamina/pace when I was starting. The unearthly in pace is essential, with stamina as high as you think you can afford, at least 13 I guess.
A coach with brilliant stamina is pretty much ok imho
Even coach with very good at stamina is alright. I accidentally trained stamina with coach like that. I think only 1 player didn`t pop - he should have popped to formidable:)
But still, the higher, the better.

But still there is no point in unearthly stamina 'cause it will raise the salary of the coach a lot and it's not worth to pay so much just for 1-2 trainings.
I purchased a coach yesterday with unearthly on stamina and unearthly on pace. His wages are a little more than I would like to pay ($11,925/wk) but I should still be able to have more income than expenses on a weekly basis. I sacked the other coach, of course.
you're lucky, you started out with all bots in your league so you don't need to worry too much about the results, you could/should go undefeated even with all trainees starting.
When I started there was another human user in my C league who was several seasons ahead of me, not serious enough to promote but had good enough players to give me a headache twice a season.
You might even get a bot in your promotion game if you get really lucky, not sure if you want to promote right away, getting whipped in the B league in your second season could suck. I'm glad I didn't promote right away in hindsight, it allowed me to avoid the temptation of spending to get results rather than investing for the future.

Its all about getting those juniors that sell for a ton of money like my good friend Peter Tucker...
Club received 459 000 $ from transfer of junior Peter Tucker.
It is the 2nd time he has been sold since I sold him originally. I have made about $8000 just from Junior transfer fees :P

whew, 9m transfer, any idea what he looks like now?
Not sure, I am sure he has been updated in the NTDB. I know he is probably close to magical/magical/magical or better.
well damn, sets the bar kinda high for a NT striker slot going forward.
offer the new owner 14M before pete turns 24 and dont follow through just so he gets TLed again
I should do something like that with Hale... He turns 24 at the end of the season =(
