Alright you know the drill. I've been doing this long enough so you know my style and arguments and pretty much everything. I'll definitely invest all I've got into this team and hopefully make progress moving us back up into the top 10.

I'll even answer your first question:
Q: Mr-llama, since you own one of the USA NT strikers do you feel you will show favoritism and play him more than the other players?
A: You bet your ass I will.

Any other questions?

I do not have any questions, but some comments.

As many of you know I have coached the U21s in the last two qualification tournaments, and both times we have made it into the world cup, and neither time we we ranked in the top 3 in our groups, yet we placed second both times. The majority of this came down to superior tactics, and in fairness Mr-Llama had a huge hand in helping scout other teams for weaknesses and strengths to address. Most times we agreed, on a few times we disagreed, and frankly he was right more than wrong in those cases, but we still were able to over come. And he knows very well where to position players. I will gladly help him if he has any player selection questions, as I am sure others involved in the NT in the past would be glad to help too. I see this as a long term commitment on his part, and that should only help us. Plus we NEED an USA based manager.

I think we would be in very good hands with Mr. Llama. Discard where he sits in his league, it is not the tactics that are keeping him from advancing, he has that part of the game well under control.

The Llama got my vote!

Thanks fla, I'd love to coach this NT

yeah why not

Q: Mr-Llama, are you going to rebuild NT team or going to utilize current old players? So far I see only 1 player from ex Dagwood's U21 team.

Llama: You do realize that coaching the NT has nothing to do with farming cash, but actually winning matches...right?
8 and 6 in B league. With your talent, I'd do at least 3 games better.

Sorry, seems all this time you still suck at actually winning matches. Won't be getting my vote.
Voting for this guy will equal voting for assured failure.

I respect my opponent but when I look at his results, I see that he can't achieve anything great with the national team. Mr-Llama, you have better players but you lose matches so high.
It's yours choice but with this coach I am sure that you have no chance against the best teams, or even at your level.

I admit my teams tactics this season have been lacking.

Something to note though is that I don't use my team's tactics as a way of winning, but rather as a way of testing things. I don't mind sitting in B league with my team, I do mind sitting at 18th (or wherever we moved now) as the US considering we used to be top 10. I know we have the players and I believe my scouting of other teams is advanced considering my multiple seasons helping out the U21. I also believe that there is no perfect tactic to be used universally and rather each team and each player specifically has a tactic best suited for him. I know you've all looked at my last league game where I lost 5-1 vs a team with lower stats. Firstly I must say his team beats lots of other teams with higher stats. But regardless I was testing out a variation of his tactic in my own tactics to see what a near mirror match up would look like and where his team can capitalize on the weaknesses. Just gives me more information to use in the future when I go back and look at matches, especially ones where the weaker team statwise wins.

I also lost a game to raging balls FC 6-5, but that was mostly due to my laziness of not adding substitutions for my main team when my central defender gets a red card with plenty of time to spare. If I were manager of the NT I assure you I would take every precaution and never miss silly things like that. I'd go down to the details of making sure every throw in gave us the ball in a good position, that I can promise.

Also, to our polish friend: you are rude and there was nothing respectful about your comment, please leave my thread

I just wanted to persuade you to a factual discussion of the serious arguments. Meanwhile, you are attacking me, calling me rude and you promise something which until now you could not provide. No offense, just keep with me honest debate and other players will be able to choose the better :)

All I see is a big wall of text masquerading as excuses. This season? How about your entire career.

Stop sucking.

I think I told you this back when you were a little noobling, and I was holding my own in A league and you couldn't get out of freaking C league yet even then you were talking like hot sh*t. Never in my wildest imagination that I'd come back in 6 seasons or whatever it was and see you still not promote to A. Not even for a cup of coffee.

Talk about non-competitive. A vote for you is a vote for certain failure.

And the answer is? So far nothing...

Sorry I've been sick so I went to sleep for like 12 hours after posting that.

I'll respond after work today

hope you feel better soon. The attacks aren't personal. You're just unqualified in sokker terms to manage our best players.

I beg to differ, and I think fla would be the most able to agree considering I've been working with him for the past 2 seasons and helped get our U21 into the WC (when we probably shouldn't have gotten in on paper)

dinnertime answer ur question up there when I get back
