Subject: The Death of the Wallace

2006-06-06 20:16:17
It is with greatest regret that i report to this community the Death of the Wallace.

Orien Wallace, a potential future superstar from my youth squad, has passed away during an extraordinarily strenuous training excercise. A friend close to the family, fighting through tears, explained that "he always strived for the best and just worked too hard at self-improvement".

Team owner Guacamole stated flatly, "I accept full blame and apologizes to the rest of the US that we won't have this player in our NT or U-XX team."

More information on Guacamole's blame will be forthcoming in a subsequent news release.

Ok, plz don't think there's a new kind of injury - there's no injuries in youth and they certainly didn't implement a "death" injury, lol.

I accidentally deleted him from the youth squad instead of the hopless player next to him in the list.

Stupid and quite costly.

Codymac, don't gloat ;)

What level was he?

Still had 15 weeks left, was going to come out 2/3 of the way thru brilliant.

Damn. That really, really sucks.

Hey, it goes to show you that the creators won't make exceptions even for a mod, eh? Obviously i begged them to reinstate him, lol

wow, sorry man

I refuse to allow this story of Wallace the Wussy-Man dying to remain unrebutted. I believe that there is a different story. The truth hurts. Truly.

It seems that Orien became convinced "he" was really meant to be a woman and that "he" performed unanesthesized surgery on himself with a rusty cleaver. Seems Guacadork's YS didn't have enough money for clean knives, so all they had was abandoned cutlery found in a garbage dump. Anyway, Orien gave himself the procedure, got infected, and went crazy. He was last seen wandering the streets of Mexico City in a dirty straightjacket, trying to gnaw his "wounds" while gibbering "I feel pretty, oh so pretty."

P.s. I wish i was as cool as guacamole, he's my frieeeend.
p.p.s. I should also know better than to joke about a subject as sensitive as the wallace when i'm just a pitiful little man.

false. arun usually studies on weekend nights because hes indian. he could just study during the day so he could be able to hang out at night, but that makes too much sense (he may be book smart but hes not street smart).

This sucks. First Rakes is a big letdown and now Wallace dies. Must be some sort of message board jinx when talking about juniors before they arrive.

Good thing I haven't talked up Dermontti Pittsnogle.

LOL now that was funny =P

I put a sheet of paper on the screen to make sure I reject the right junior. I've been waiting a long time for Wallace, sorry to hear that.

We need another super youth with a nickname! Rakes wasn't a let down, he's probably all trained up by now.

Sorry guacamole. I never did like the styling of the junior screen. The reject buttons are too far away and there are no table borders to follow across the screen. Also no "are you sure?" message like you get when you sack a player.
2006-06-07 08:42:49
There are "are you sure options", but they don't help much as they don't say who you are sacking. Which is annoying.
