I had a PM i'm about to sell as soon as he pops in pace pop in playmaking, that was good.

A passing pop for another pm.

4 primary pops.

3 junior pops.

Pretty ok week.

I have a formation called "Run and Hide" I use for friendlies. I train defenders, and position one of them in a corner and NEVER move them. That way they can't get injured. I use that spot for a-team players (e.g. my #1 striker) to get them training in whatever I'm training my defenders on.

The moral of the story - you could create a striker formation where one sits in a corner to keep your special players safe.

I need to. This guy is 19 and is very close to making the french national team. Losing 2 weeks of training has really hurt.

Don't run from my babes, they're hawt.

Injury risk seem to be under control, since the last match engine change. That injury tracking thread is not as active as it used to be.
2006-07-06 17:37:27
When was there an engine change recently? Did i actually miss that?
2006-07-06 17:42:13
here's the annoucement:

New match engine Autor: mr_gibbage

The new match engine which has previously been used in friendlies only, will be used in competitive matches starting with the cup matches today (Wednesday 12th).
2006-07-06 17:42:55
That's not recently tho. Most of the whining about injuries happened well after (as a result of) that release.
2006-07-06 17:46:51
still runs a risk of challenging a ball if they are the closest player to the ball, but yea formations like that usually do the trick
2006-07-06 17:50:52
I'm saying that injury risk seem to be under control now. Right after the match engine change several of us suffered a ridiculous amount of injuries, but now it appears to be back to normal.
2006-07-06 18:21:43
I'm still not back to normal, thx. Just lost my top striker & trainee for 25 days.
2006-07-06 18:36:16
5 passing (2solids 2excellent 1outstanding)

a pair of useful pace and technique pops, and a pair of not so useful striking/playmaking pops
2006-07-06 19:54:04
I always play run and hide with my best players if I'm double playing them in friendlies - what's the benefit of not doing it, even if injuries aren't as frequent as they used to be? It isn't like winning a friendly is that important (although the Babes Cup IS very critical to world peace and stuff.)
2006-07-07 05:34:30
Training Pace:
5 pace pops
5 osmotic pops

some form changes... nothing drastic.
2006-07-09 04:30:42
That's what I don't like them condoning, turns the game into a joke.
2006-07-09 15:48:00
How so? Friendly games are for experience and training. Why force people to risk injury? That's like saying "you have to play rehabbing NFL football players in real games because getting them healthy in practice alone is a joke."
