What are the salary ranges for formidable and oustanding coaches? What would be the best way to acquire an outstanding one, give the search a shot or through the market? What sort of money can you expect to have to give for an oustanding coach with a relatively low salary on the coach market?

formidables go for as low as 13-15k i believe, as to outstanding the lowest salary i've seen is 18k but tht's pretty hard to find, expect to pay about 20k. As to giving the search a try, you might but chances you probably won't find exactly what you want and you'll spend as much as if you just bought one off the transfers, expect to pay about 20-50k for an outstanding. I bought my incredible for 80k, and his salary is 25k (maybe a little high, but iono).

....Ahhh crap, I guess I screwed up with spilling 82k for a 15.7k outstanding coach...will take a while to return :(.

I just saw an outstanding for 12k!
2006-07-02 08:04:23
how decent was he? or was he just really bad at keeping?

The lowest salary coaches are the ones whose skill is spread the most evenly from what I've noticed and he was very even.

Perfect for a youth trainer or an assistant but not suited for the main coach position. The way salaries fluctuate the higher you go I'm not sure if it's better to have one extremely expensive main coach and pure assistants or split the cost between a few coaches who can alternate at being the main coach. Depends on how you train as well though. I needed someone for my youth squad and ended up settling for abit over 16k paying 100k, o well, won't be able to get much better and I'll probably be keeping him for a quite a while.

Are there any intelligent Brits out there to translate that into $'s?

*claps*

Thank you for sharing the info, very useful, but we're too lazy to convert it.

figure about 1.8 conversion...lol when i first saw the figures i was like 4.5k for a form! :P

btw i was wondering wt your guys main coaches are...i mean i have 4 coaches (main and 3 assts) who are all either form, ex, and vg...in total i think their salaries come out to about 30k or so...what i'm asking though is do you guys have expencive main coaches, or do you just have a vg who's unearthly in the quality that you're training?

My coaching staff probably isn't the norm, as I've went all out on my staff. Total salary for the main, 3 assistants, and junior coach is $133,075. My main coach is a brilliant who is unearthly in 5 skills and magical in a 6th. The unearthly skills in areas I'm not training help with 'random pops'.
