Subject: Coaches....

What level of coaches should I have? My team is in first place in B-League but it seems like my youth players are not contributing to the roster. What level should my coaches be in order to get better youth players (my best ones are excellent) and to be competitive in A-League?

As high as you can afford, the better youths will pay for the coach and help you increase your stadium size. It also depends on the number and quality (high level) of youths you have coming out. If you have a few youths coming out beyond excellent in the coming weeks, try to upgrade your coach before they come out.

I have a Brilliant youth coach now and I will upgrade to an unearthly one soon (tough to find and expensive on the TL). Make sure that you don't hire a coach that you can't afford, I did that before and I had to fire him.

I'm not sure that an unearthly youth coach would be worth the difference in cost between he and a magical overall coach. But I suppose it's worth a try?

I've had an incredible junior coach for about two months now, and the difference he made over an excellent coach has been negligible.

With the exception of the wage difference, of course, which has been quite noticeable.

Difference exc->incred has to be at least 1 week per pop i'd guess.

I switched from an outstanding to a brilliant youth coach and the long term effects are worth it. 5 weeks per pop--> now 4 weeks per pop; 4 weeks per pop --> now 3.5 weeks per pop.

Also, maybe it's luck, but the pulls have been more valuable coming out. Meaning my "very goods" now are better then my " very goods then". Perhaps next season I'll make the move, after I put a roof on my seats.

That's what I was hoping for, but only a couple of my guys (out of fifteen) took a full week less to pop. It was pretty disappointing, and I figured that I could be spending the extra money elsewhere. I didn't notice that any of the guys I pulled during that time were exceptionally better.

Maybe others have had better experiences, but for me, it didn't seem to be worth the extra money.
