Subject: Stadiums
Frankly, I did both. I waited until my original stadium was selling out, and as I got better I did one massive increase to it. When that starts selling out, I'll do another.
im with tactics on this one. you cant start winning unless you have good players, which takes some investing unless you start out with a great team.
also think about this: if you wait to invest in players, inflation is gonna screw you over and ur gonna be paying more. stadium increase costs are a constant.
and mid range B league teams wont even sell out original stadiums when its raining, while training isnt effected by weather
players i bought for 100k a few seasons ago i could now sell for 1.5-2 million, which is so much more revenue than 100k worth of stadium increases could have brought me, PLUS the player helps me win games

Haha, look who's talking :P, the role model :). Tsts, that 3k stadium in the MLS :).
I've actually chosen to go the player building route. I recognize this will mean operating at a loss for a while, and will cost me a good trainee eventually...but he won't be the only young player improving all the while.
I will wait to improve my stadium until I can start breaking even fiscally, consistently, every two weeks. I will also monitor home crowds and corresponding weather conditions over the next season or so.
For better or worse, I've chosen the player development approach.

worked, and im still goin strong. plus i upgraded slightly a long while ago if u hadnt noticed.
ive noticed most people who have been upgrading their stadiums are doing so in really nonefficient ways, think about it before you waste money
