Subject: No help for a newbie!

I must say! I have been playing for about 2-3 months, and the response from other players is really poor!

I mean how will you guys ever get newbies to stay, if you don't help them fast, or not at all!

Personally i really like this game, but there is no help to find!

You could also jump on the mentor thread, and ask for a mentor....

The best thing to do is to get a mentor, I'm one of the mentors and I can help you.

I for one is totally disgusted with this Forum and the attitude certain people display towards questions asked by others.
If you dont know the answer or is unwilling to answer simply DONT respond. How hard would it be if someone ask a general question and you do know the answer or think you do, to simply post your response in the thread instead of just suggesting that they get a mentor, maybe your response might help not just that one individual but othes that may have a question along those same lines.(I am not suggesting that the Mentor program is a bad thing)
There are simply too many arrogrant people stalking this forum and its turning a lot of us away from the game, and yet you wonder why we cant hold on to new members. from experience I know the same thing takes place in the HA forums and I see many of those same people moving to this game, combined with the A- holes we already had here, it makes for a very bad situation.I,for one WILL never ask for help/advice on this forum. i will continue playing the game because its one of the best soccer games around but some of you people has decreased my enjoyment by your arrogrant stupidity when it comes to responding to simple questions.

Dmann, i think the people are suggesting that he get a mentor because a mentor would be more helpful than 1-2 brief responses in this thread.

I know when i have a mentee i run over all aspects of the game and make sure the newb understands the nuances, much more effectively than answering a post in a thread. Also, i know what to tell the mentee based on their team and based on my knowledge of what is complex in the game, again more helpful than just answering what the player is having trouble with.
