Subject: Friendly league for newbies
- 1
Welcome to join the "Ultimate Cup of Sweden" if you are a newbie.
It would actually be nice to have a legitimate USA newbie league.
I know a couple of you have invited me to join your friendly leagues, and I appreciate the offer, but sponsor spirit is affected by friendly results too - and I really don't feel like joining a friendly league where I'm going to get pounded on by upper B and A league teams.
At least not until I have enough cash that I don't have to worry about sponsorship money quite so much.

I dont believe that sponsor money is affected by your results in Friendly matches.
The only thing I have observed that is different from Friendly Cups and plain friendly matches is that you don't split the crowd revenue in a friendly cup. The home team keeps 100%

I've got a question for several of you, how much cash would you think it's safe if your in group A, B, C, or the major leagues?
the money might not be, but their mood most definitely is. I've been here just a couple of weeks but I've seen it myself.
At least I'm pretty sure I have :)

Definitely disagree on friendlies affecting supporter's mood.
I was consistently winning this past season and the mood stayed at the highest level even though I was losing in the friendly cup I was playing.

friendlies do make a small difference, only visible occasionally when you are very borderline between different moods
my supporters must be hanging by a thread then to start with, because I've only played two regular season matches and one friendly thus far. Won two of them, tied a now B league promotee 3-3 and after 3 matches my team's mood has gone up two levels.
It went up specifically after this friendly. Almost as if they were ALMOST happy I tied the first place team, but when I drilled a team in a friendly they were ready to bump up the ol supporter spirit.
