Debt isn't much of a problem. You just need to make sure there is a decent flow of trainees to sell to keep you over -$250k.
y do u think you've lost so much money, becuase of transfers, salaries, or lsoing games???
i've finally got some decent juniors coming out in a couple weeks. that should get me back on track.
im loosing bc of salaries. coaches are expensive.
fortunetly i think my juniors will get me a couple $
Elton Nicholson very good 6 reject
Len Rhyne very good 11 reject
Frederick Owsley solid 15 reject
Willy Bonseu very good 16 reject
Chance Spelling good 25 reject
Theodore Greene adequate 27 reject

Get rid of the avarage and adequate ones, they will not get you too much money and cost you a lot...
WRONG!!!!!
An adequate one that pops 5 times in 27 weeks will be worth a LOT when he comes out. My rule - don't keep anyone who won't be at least solid (usually VG) when the come out. The adequate at 27 weeks out easily could be formidable when they graduate.

Whatever......even if you make 10,000 on a solid player it still does not cover the 20-30K that you spent through his training in your academy...
I'm convinced that the junior squad is not generally a viable economic decision. If you keep 20 slots open and are paying $20k/week for you junior coach, that's $640k per season that you'd have to make back. I don't know about you guys, but I know I haven't made that kind of money.
Now, of course I'm not going to stop my junior squad. I'm just pointing out that, on the whole, it's not generally about the money. It's an enjoyable aspect of the game, which is why I keep doing it.

I don't keep solids unless they will be in the YS for less than 15 weeks or so. I track how long pops take for each of my YS players, so I know after two pops how good they'll be.
Solid is borderline, very good I always keep. A decent formidable pull (like the above one could be with even average talent) could be worth $500k-$1 million.

No doubt that the youth squad can help the club grow and bring money in but it has to be done in stages. If you dont have a very highly skilled coach you dont want to spend a lot of money on someone that will not give you much profits.
um - back on topic...
after 1 year in div C I got $41,151 from Sponsors
this week, in div B, I got $62,202
