Subject: Aging and Junior PULL

My question is silly probably but i just though of this today after i noticed all of my players getting old.

Thursday after the update i had 2 juniors ready to sign up for my first team and i did as usual, one of them was 16YO and the other one 17YO and today of course they become 17 and 18 YO: so my question is, what if i waited 2 more days before sign them up for first team??Would they had aged or not??

Yes, they would have aged, anyway. Everybody in your junior squad did, as well.

I believe that once somebody enters your squad, they have an age already tagged with them (most likely 16). These players age as seasons pass and they wait several weeks to train and be pulled.

You sure about that? I believe that juniors skills are generated when you pull, dunno if it would be so different for the age. Of course, it would be nice if it were the way you say so someoen who's been in the squad for 30 weeks is more likely to have an older age...

I've noticed that the pulls that have been in my school the longest always come out at 18 or 19, and the ones who have been there for less than 14 weeks or just a little over are about 16 and 17. I just assumed that players are given that age once they enter the youth squad.

maybe age is just like an attribute, so if he comes out young he will lack in a skill or something like that

could be that or the game just says "they've been in the squad for x weeks, so they're Random(16..19) + x / 16". That'd indicate there was no junior aging...

I'm trying to remember when some certain juniors came into my squad and what age they were when they were pulled.

Jamal Patterson came to my squad as a good 23 the first week of the season (two ago). Assuming that he was 16 then, he was pulled as a talented 17 YO halfway through this past season. That would support my theory, but he's only one example. I believe that I've noticed this with other players, though.

Perhaps, we should investigate a little more into it.

I have all the data of my junior players in another PC, so when i got there i will check, week pull to the Junior, week pull to the first team, seasons and age.

Those are my last pulls of this season (and i mean the one just finished), so when i say "last season" i mean the one previous this one (some people could say we already start a new one!^_^)
When i say "pull" i mean ready to join First team, when i say "pick up" i mean when the join Junior school.

Chandler Jamison, pulled on last training update (TU) before aging, in Junior team (JT)for 13 weeks came out at 16YO (GOOD pull)

Rajol Lohan, pulled on last TU before aging, in JT for 14 weeks, came out as 17 YO (SOLID)

JUan Greenup, pulled 2 TU ago, in JT for 17 weeks(pick up last season), came out as 19YO (GOOD pull)

Kendall Kay, pulled 2 TU ago, in JT for 21 weeks (pick up last season) , came out as 17 YO (SOLID pull)


Carlos Pugmire, pulled 3 TU ago, in JT for 22 weeks (pick up last season) came out as 17YO (VERY GOOD pull)


Hugh Corrales, pulled 4 TU ago, in JT for 29 ( pick up last week of 2 season ago), came out as 18 YO (FoRMIDABLE)

Lawrence Breza, pulled 5 TU ago, in JT for 29 weeks (pick up 2 seasons ago), came out as 20YO (SOLID)

Will Taylor, pulled 6 TU ago, in JT for 33 weeks (pick up 2 seasons ago), came ou as 20 YO (FORMIDABLE)

Thaddeus Madsen, pulled 7 TU ago, in JT for 6 weeks (pick up this season), came out as 16 YO (GOOD)

Rich Greer, pulled 8 TU ago, in JT for 23 weeks (pick up first week of last season), came out as 17 YO (FORMIDABLE)

Neil Devemport, pulled 8TU ago, in JT for 19 weeks (pick up last season), came out as 19 YO (VERY GOOD)

Ricky Paltrow, pulled 9 TU ago, in JT for 26 weeks (pick up 2 season ago), came out as 20 YO(EXCELLENT)

Moe Cruz, pulled 10 TU ago, in JT for 28 weeks (pick up 2 season ago), came out as 20 YO (SOLID)

Dal O'Donnel, pulled 11 TU ago, in JT for 6 weeks (pick up last week of last season) came out as 18 YO (SOLID)



I think it is pretty random with some players acting like KY said and some completely random (as long they are not giving age when they join yout junior team)
