Only two more weeks until the incomparable Merle Bobo "the clown" makes his debut.

Can he be selected for the US National Team now?

Hope he's not a keeper....

he gonna pop before pull?

I have a player who was more talented than the wallace but started lower and who will be pulled in 7 weeks. Gonna come out mid incredible.

Sokker manager currently tracking his talent at 3.67 based on 4 pops. :)

Agreed, would be a waste!

I got a good one coming as well and he's talented, 3.5 weeks per pop.

He'll be a striker trainee wether he likes it or not.

Lakay you sound like me. I can turn just about anything into a striker trainee. I pulled an 18 yo with excellent playmaking and good passing......he is now enrolled in the Trogdor striker training program.

BTW, everybody needs to start saving up. It is rumored that Trogdor will have 2 or 3 high class strikers for sale sometime this seasons. All should sell for 1M plus.
2006-08-04 17:10:50
I heard the same rumor about Grenadier. In fact I heard that Lakay was going to post the first one in the Transfer Market Forum in a minute.

BTW:

The 18 yr old with excellent PM, is he taking shots quicker? Reacting quicker towards the ball?

What's he's name? I'll observe him to test this theory.

Any of the potential strikers have a need for pace and have high tech?

I wouldn't mind making a NTer...
2006-08-04 18:11:46
His name is Andrew Bandura, but I am so crappy in the middle that he has had to play as a midder. I'll put him in as a striker sometime soon. It might be after i sell one of my other starting fowards (I need cash to buy a new midder first). Or I could put him in as a striker in next week's cup match.

He did score 1 goal on 2 shots in Wednesday's cup match. It was the first goal of his career.

I have a player coming who's more talented than the wallace was. Came into my juniors lower, so he's "only" coming out mid-incred.

I'm REALLY hoping he has Low Low Low pace :)

^_^ Just make sure not to FRY this one TOO!!!!^_^
2006-08-04 20:25:33
He has a bodyguard.
2006-08-04 20:37:51
playmaking with forwards will do the same thing it does for anyone else
2006-08-04 22:18:02
Make them pass quicker and better?

I don't want them to pass, I get upset when they do that. This is what I'm hoping for, will PM help with those situations:

Fast forwards sometimes think about what to do before they take off and run with the ball. (PM?)

Players stand around sometimes before they go after the ball especially on throw-ins, corners, set pieces.(PM?)

The famous run the ball to the keeper so he can take it away from you (my nightmare). Quicker shot in the box (PM?)

PM doesnt equal passing, it just means players will make the right decisions. if a defender is going to challenge them, someone with good playmaking would either take the shot if they were in range. it does prevent the famous just running into the keeper, i really hate that too, or also the 1v1 shoot it from 25 yards out
