USA U21 play this year only friendly match, so ... maybe is the good ideea to prepare next generation. I propose to you that in all friendly match to select just U20 or U19 players.

preparing doesn't actually help. Experience is both negligible on the match engine, and in actual gain in these games.

I learned this the hard way a while back when I ran Israel U21. The loss in ranking points is far worse.

best way you can 'prepare' the next generation is train them for U21 success at early ages. It's absolutely comical that Dakota Hodge is the best striker on the team this season, because he's marginally talented. He would be a 4th striker on other teams historically, I'm pretty sure.

This past cycle for the country is the result of 1 of 2 things:

- horrible luck nationwide
- managers training players sub-optimally for U21 (if not poorly outright).

The two young players are fantastic.
I've competed hard in the international arena. Unfortunately, with the changes to the rules of the game, U21 friendly matches are no longer beneficial for player development.

Furthermore, the America's Cup will be played with U21 players next week. So, I'll continue playing with the U21s.

Since we're in 34th place, I took a risk and scheduled a match against Chile, who are better than us. We're in for a tough day.

Held them to 6 shots against... that's solid work defensively.

Good job. Ironic that as Hodge improves he stops scoring.

Basically the story of my entire franchise this season.

Unfortunately, Hodge and my club team's Cyrus Riddle and Verne Van Horn had a very poor season.

We reached the semifinals of the Copa America, but we were drawn against Mexico, the dark horse of the World Cup. I watched them play in the World Cup. They're a fantastic team.

And five of our players are injured and won't be available next week. I hope there aren't any more injuries.

I see some very good young American players aged 18 and 19. It gives us hope for the future.

Yeah, from what I've been reading, this cycle was am unfortunate anomaly.

Thanks for sticking it out.

Friends, I'm very happy today because the draw for the World Cup Qualifying Group took place.

As you know, we qualified from Pot 3. We specifically selected the most balanced opponent from Pot 2. There weren't any particularly strong opponents.

In the previous World Cup Qualifiers, we were drawn against France and won one match 1-0. The link to the match is below.

Fransa U21 - ABD U21 0:1

Furthermore, we weren't drawn against our important opponents from Pot 1, such as Poland, Romania, Italy, Hungary, Türkiye, Bulgaria, and Germany.
