ahh...i see, hmm...it seems that my striker is completely the opposite of that :P (really good tech, and ok pace)

No formation (4:4:2; 3:5:2; 3:4:3 etc..) dominates in sokker!

What really dominates is:

1) Tactic
2) Having the right players to play that tactic.

-Well rounded mids are also very expensive, just harder to and more expensive to find high quality trainees.

-Strikers, you only need 6 of them with decent secondaries:

Order of importance:

Striker
Pace
Tech
def
passing

Wayne is slow, eh? NOW you tell me.

It's not a bad thing. You just need to make sure that you are feeding him the ball with good passers, and that you set him up in the open because he can dribble past people more easily than run by them without the ball.

i doubt he can dribble thru an incred defender like yours are tho.

SHHHHHHH. Don't tell him that is why I keep tying him. Of course, we don't play for 3 months and who knows what will happen then.

You said it yourself on another board, i woudln't give away your info dude :)
2006-08-09 12:57:12
haha... :P guess i'll just train pace now for the next three months

so for the first 2-3 weeks stamina training is the way to go, right? Kinda like @ HT? and then specialize for 1-2 training methods with the younger players?

If you buy a player who played a league game this past Sunday will he get training with his new team?

I'm training pace for the first 3 weeks in order to deal with Fro and Ky in the next couple of weeks.

Yes, he'll get training as if he had played that match for your team (ie if he played MID and you're training pm for mids, he'll be trained, but if he played DEF he won't as normal).

interesting question
2006-08-10 13:02:34
