Subject: Match Time

My match page has the following:

Start at: 2006-08-28 00:29 (+462 min)

Does that mean it will start 462 minutes from now, or 462 minutes later than the scheduled start time? Thanks,

Wonder if the downtime earlier this week caused this. Would love the courtesy of a friendly explanation.

Nuts.

It means that the games are delayed that many minutes after the posted start time.

Right now at +466, that's about 7 hours and 45 mins.

Obviously I missed the front page announcement... Need to read before I log in I guess. What's new?

There's a message in the home page: they still have problems with servers, and games has been delaied!!!

the devs were angry too. You should've seen the message. They were ready to beat some server tech who hadnt gotten them the new server (s) they ordered yet...

I'm on the side of the devs this time - they've done all they can do (order new hardware).

I'll watch my match tomorrow morning :)

Nah. They'll be played before we go to sleep (unless you go to bed at 10 pm EST or something).

I don't mind, I'm just happy that they are working this out on their own time. +1 for sokker forever.

As of right now ... 8:52 PM EDST... the matches will run about 2:30 AM tomorrow morning .. I will not be up then.

I hold no grudge vs. anyone. Just bummed that my routine is outta whack. :)

Stuff happens in IT as I'm all too familiar with.

I do need to read the front page more often. But, I wonder if information like that shouldn't show up on your team page - post login.
