that's remarkable. I'm looking at mid to upper 16s and PM in the mid 17s. Never mind the defense. Assuming no meaningful injuries.

No idea if there's a better MID in the game today, but there is no Polish one. In fact most Polish MIDs are off by a mile.

I also wander what is a better move here. Play Oswald with low form or another player with a higher form.
I personally believe that player with low form has less percentage chance to “use” his full skill in every play contrary to popular believe is that he just plays as if his skills are at lower level.

depends how low and how high form and what exact position
probably would try 45 each and just compare how they performed during the game in same conditions (tactics, opponent etc.)

Until what age do you train (advanced) your players?
He was the exception, he got until 30. Until this few seasons I haven't competed at this level, so I've always stopped around 23 and sold. But now I'm training a bunch of 29-30 year olds, If I wouldn't sell my team to try be more sustainable, I think this roster would have 2-3 more seasons at the top, then I'd train probably 31 year olds as well. Not like I have meaningful minutes for 17 year olds :)

Yeah.. His form could go up a bit, and I'd love to see a last World Cup run from him :)
The form thing, I would add, it depends on the opponent. Against weaker opponents, I tend to put in better players with lower forms, but against top-end opponents, I value form more, maybe a bit too much (speaking of NT now, I have limited options to rotate in my club).

Draw against Paraguay; good tactic by oppositions coach, few selection mistakes on my end, many players are in less than optimal form; we missed penalty at the beginning; hit a crossbar at the end and missed some decent opportunities in between. Paraguay also created some chances much respect for their game.

I sort of thought he'd go for a bit more myself, but didn't really research it.
He could lose a skill across the board and still be incredible. Don't know there will be another one like him
