As far as two last games go I have been experimenting with tactics against very good teams as I believe now is the best opportunity to do so. As a manager I would like to be ready for games against best teams.

I'm developing my own understanding of the game at the NT level; it doesn't need to work now, it needs to work during actual qualifications and World Cup itself.

Did I make mistakes? sure

Despite bad results, I also see a lot of positives and things I have gotten right, I wasn't able to improve defense in a way I intended to.

As everyone here, I also have my own philosophy of this game and my own belief of how things work and why.

Look, as I said, I'm not interested in judgment. I definitely see positives as well. It is always difficult walking into a new team, more so at the U21 level because skills are all over the place and not typically in a good way.

Oh. I missed the fact those are friendly games. Andre - is think you are overreacting. Friendly games results do not matter. I agree that they are a good opportunity to experiment and learn.

They still matter for points and ranking.

They shouldn't, but every result matters unfortunately.

Really? How much?
I think it is hard for coach to not be able to practice things. Do nt have arcade?

Not that I am aware of, but I haven't really been keeping up on these things.

Ranking points and getting to pot 2 gives advantage of not running into another team from pot 2.

Which makes it easier to qualify to World Cup, because You only face one team stronger than You and have better odds of running into much weaker team from Pot 3.

How ranking points are awarded:

When you are much lower ranking point team You will gain points against higher ranking points team even in the event of a narrow defeat.

Let’s say we play against Poland and manage to lose 2:3. We get extra points added to Our ranking and they are being deducted exactly the same amount from their ranking.

I believe in getting myself ready to face any opponent rather than worrying about whatever we can avoid stronger opponents in future.

"I believe in getting myself ready to face any opponent rather than worrying about whatever we can avoid stronger opponents in future."

Wholeheartedly agree on this.

Do what you think you need to do, and in the off chance you want my assistance, just reach out.

How so? Portugal has reached Pot 2… for example, by beating Italy, and not by playing against weak teams. You never know what you’re talking about, and you don’t know what you’re doing.

Paradiseky is doing the right work to reach Pot 2. The path he's following will allow the team to grow, and Pot 2 will happen naturally. I just keep reading this forum because it's funny that regardless of who the coach is, there's always confusion. And I'm not caught up in the confusion!

that's all

Does anyone know what are the steps to release 18 yo players, NT potential, from an inactive manager who didn’t login in two weeks?

Norge - USA 3:2

Rewatched the game multiple times; while defense ended up a little deeper than anticipated I would like to point out how many times Jonas Woock, one of Our best defenders with super divine experience lost 1v1.

Things just didn't go Our way this game, we had much better opportunities to score, weren't able to capitalize. O'Shea misses the empty net tap in; Madsen decides to back pass when 1v1. Opposition breaks many tackles against defense in a top form.

Bet with key players in just a better form we are winning this game regardless of tactic not playing out as intended.
