Subject: Pops....

Is there a certain amount of pops that count as an avarege? I assume that the more talented a player is the more pops I sould expect...is that true?
2006-08-31 18:03:37
It is HIGHLY variable, based on the quality of your coaches, the player's talent, the player's age, and the elvel of the skill.

With ok assistants (solid+) and a coach with unearthly in whatever you're training:

A very talented young player will pop in about 3-4 weeks for the middle level skills.

An very untalented young player will take about 8-10 weeks to pop.

For high high skills (ie incr+), add about 30%.

For older players there's a curve so it's not staightforward, i see a more drastic slowdown of training at 22-23, tho i've trained 23 year olds before...

I have all of the ablove...my trainees have very low skills in the training areas. Should I expect a pop every 2 weeks?
2006-08-31 19:36:58
If by low you mean below poor, and if they are very talented, they'll pop every 2 weeks until about poor. Then 2-3 poor->avg, then 3-4 adequate->very good etc.

very talented and under 21: pops every two weeks all the way up to adequate.

adequate to solid pops every 3 weeks.

My previous set of strikers were popping every 4 to 5 weeks from excellent to outstanding even when they were as old as 22 yo.

Your assistants are a little different than the ones i was suggesting, and your definition of very talented is probably YS 3.7-4, not YS 3.7-5 orso...
2006-08-31 22:47:59
Yes, you' re right on both points!
2006-08-31 22:50:19
Ok, i'm sensing a little jedi mind power here...

Lets try this one: You think you're a leetle gurl. Wearing pigtails.

Wrong, that picture never came across my mind.

Back on track: I have 3 outstanding assistants and my new strike force is made up of under 4 weeks per pop Juniors.

Outstanding assistants are beyond the means of all but probably 5 or 6 US teams, you know.... I'm in real good shape financially, and I don't think I could swing that.

What's your supporter size?

My sources of income:

Filling out my now 24K stadium.

I have an outstanding, incredible, and brilliant for assistants, with a brilliant youth coach.

It can be done if you have a good plan incorporating those things Lakay mentioned.
2006-09-01 04:40:46
I'm not saying it can't be done. I'm saying that Lakay has 10 months lead on me and you have e.g. 3 months lead on me. I imagine that your supporter income is way more than my $100k/week. When I've got $140k/week, I'll have better assistants than I do now (which basically is formidable).

My assistants are solid, formid, and outstanding.
Magical head coach, bril youth.
