Subject: [U21] Islander
Also let’s make nice with each other or else Releme might run again
yea, islander got my vote mainly because he was more active in the league recently
@ Cristoph
You reached the quarterfinals, which you boast about every step of the way, and which no one else has achieved since, but we know how lucky you were. The numbers don't lie. Results and shot statistics: Group stage 0-0 (1-8), 0-0 (7-8), 3-2 (8-11), Round of 16 1-1 (4-8), penalties 2-0, quarterfinal 0-2 (4-13). You were in the top eight, but in no match did you have more shots than your opponent. I'd play games of chance with that kind of luck.

My dear — the Releme you’re referring to has been applying in Portugal exactly the same project he implemented here in the U.S. Portugal was once ranked below the U.S. in the standings. And where is Portugal now? Portugal is in Pot 2! Portugal’s average rating in the last match was 76.7, while the U.S.’s was 80.1. You’d love it if I ran in the U.S. elections! The U.S. has players just as good as the finalist... England! And it's in Pot 3.
Why this difference in the rankings if the U.S. has better players? The difference is that in Portugal my project was not interrupted, whereas in the U.S., as soon as results began to appear, you wanted to shut down my project to take what I had already done here. That’s why Portugal is where it is, and the U.S. is where it is. And I will certainly never be a candidate in a community like that.
And this came mainly because of two users with no experience in national teams, who talked as if they knew more than I did.
I was very happy when Blue won the elections, because that fantastic, incredible coach proved his worth with the U.S. national team, and his opinions about my work matter. He proved that he knows nothing.
And now I want islander to win these elections! Vote for islander! That’s the only reason I happened to see your message — I’m here rooting for islander’s victory.
Argue whatever you want, but Portugal is in Pot 2! You can’t argue with facts. My project was the successful one, and with weaker players.
Vote for islander!

After a fair bit of thinking, I've withdrawn from consideration for this role.
I'm not happy with the state of the game, and the hand I have been dealt the past few seasons.
As I said initially, I ran because I don't trust Christoph tactically - but honestly I am better served at this point not caring at all.
This attempt at taking this role honestly feels like the equivalent of having a child to 'fix' a failing marriage. I don't need any more reasons to be annoyed with this game right now.
Thanks to the 4 of 5 people who voted for me, and the former U21 coaches. I wish Cristoph the best of luck. If he wants input from me, I'm around. Can't autopilot training here, unfortunately.

You'll continue to be the best American coach because you'll just keep commentating on the games from the couch after they've already happened, pointing out the mistakes of others. You'll continue to have never lost a game for the USA. Congratulations!
Good luck to Cristoph, because he's acting like a great man. Cristoph deserves all the best for USA U21, and I hope USA U21 is successful.

I was so focused on the Estonia match that I didn't see you withdraw from the election. I couldn't understand why you left. Actually, most people supported you.
We are a small community and we should support each other more. If we want results for the USA the first thing we need to do is that all the USA users to have a "junior squad". That will help USA and USA U21 teams. I propose to you a deal (for the good of the USA teams): you open a junior school NOW and I withdraw my candidacy from this election. In addition, I guarantee to you that I will not register for the next 3 elections (the next 3 sokker years) and I'll vote for you. What do you think of this deal?
World Cup - Group D with:
1) France U21
2) Česká republika U21
3) USA U21
4) England U21
USA U21 is weaker than the other opponents. We start with the 4th chance. The first match is against England U21 and besides the fact that they have a better squad than ours, their players have better forms than ours.

The truth is that the United States has qualified for the World Cup twice during this period, while Portugal has only qualified once.
Being in Pot 2 is pointless if you don't qualify for the World Cup.
These are the facts.

maybe in future the timing will work out better, i guess back to voting for Cristoph:) glad we had 2 amazing coaches applying this season
The USA already had one season of my work, while Portugal needed that first season of my work. Portugal was only one season behind, nothing more. I started a season later. The truth is that after one season of my work, both teams went to the World Cup.
