pitch condition 100% ?
What am I missing here? Small pitch? We have slower players and lots of 20 yo in our lineup

It's the least we can do to let the coach who qualified get to play in the World Cup.
Mustafaatik is a nice guy who thinks that maybe the USA would prefer to have an American for the World Cup. He makes the gesture, but frankly, you should encourage him to continue given the work he's done. Which you don't even do.
After that, you can do whatever you want.. and we understand that you're not exactly choking on morality.

+1
Playing to the court's dimensions to favor your team is fine. That's part of the game.
But playing on a terrible pitch, risking an increased number of injuries, is really not cool for the players' managers. Plus, when you watch the game, they missed huge opportunities with bad rebounds before the shots. Doing that was ultimately counterproductive.

100% is the condition of NT stadium, he chose to play on this one
https://sokker.org/arena/teamID/137102
Which had like 20-25% condition

Thomas Shelby - If you’re going to talk like that, just don’t. Learn how to control your emotions
borkos007 - Here’s how I see it:
The game explicitly allows managers to choose stadium, size, and pitch quality. In league play, most managers optimize for a high-quality pitch to reduce injury risk which makes sense.
In NT matches, the coach can still choose the stadium/pitch too. That’s not even unrealistic: in real life, home teams can influence conditions (turf vs grass, pitch dimensions, etc.), and it’s part of the “home advantage.”
Also: when I play a weaker opponent, I don’t field my strongest players. That’s basic risk management.
And honestly - the pitch affects both teams the same way. As the saying goes: only losers cry.
If anything, this is a Sokker design issue:
Why is choosing a low-quality pitch supposedly “not OK” in an NT game, but the same thing is completely allowed in cup/club games? Plenty of teams play on terrible turf.
And I also remember there was discussion that U21 NT injuries are basically treated like an arcade mechanic anyway - if it is really a big problem then devs should fix it.
So yeah: if you want this to be “fair,” then change the rules/design - don’t blame managers for using the options the game provides.

amd if you want to bring up morality then you should not bring up mustafa
Low pitch quality realistically shouldn’t be an option for NT matches but good luck getting the devs to change that. Enough managers are hesitant enough to share skills for NT play for injury risks. This strategy annoys me as well. I have 2 players in the starting 11 and I do not like that this since strikers are the most likely to get injured and miss training.
Ultimately this is part of the game. Complaining and saying this threatens your World Cup odds is an overreaction and reinforces that the French are surrender monkeys

And I manage my emotions very well.. but at some point you also have to know how to be responsible.
Sokker is a free game that allows for choices, good or bad. After that, people are free to do stupid things.. but normally the community will come and give them a good dressing down to push them to break free from their stupidity and play virtuously, not through coercion, but through virtue.
No society will be democratic and emancipatory through authoritarianism. Sokker is a representation of an anarchist society.
But hey, here it's not so bad, it's better to block stupid choices to keep the peace, since we have humans too poor to act rightly.
You had a team with potential, a 53 rating isn't so bad. By playing to your strengths, you could have achieved something, given the group.. but you prefer to play poorly and do stupid things rather than play your game well.

You're saying exactly what I'm saying.. you're a coward too, so ? (no, just realistic).
The only difference is that you don't know I only have two decent midfielders, and that this 24-day injury has a huge impact on what comes next.
It's normal to be fed up because of such nonsense. (Especially for not even getting a result.. I'm sure you would have made things much harder for me on a good pitch with dimensions that suited you; you had the team for it.)

This is way more condescending than constructive.
If you have feedback, give it without insults and moral lectures.
Otherwise, keep it moving.

Also, if any admin sees it, id recommend giving him a ban. Calling people cowards is not what this forum needs

As far as mustafaatik I agree that he has done a great job. Here lies the difference in eastern culture and western culture;
The gesture he made in eastern culture is honored exactly as you described.
In western culture however this kind of gesture is honored literally; otherwise the gesture itself would be considered empty.
It is not a matter of morality rather a cultural difference.

1) The reality is you have no business crying on this forum about the pitch Cristoph used. If American owners want to complain, this is the forum for them. If you are upset with Christoph the course of action would be to PM him, not whine for pages here.
2) This was apparently a tactical choice made by Christoph (maybe wanted a rough pitch to slow both teams down?).
3) Borkos is right, of course, about it affecting both teams and increased injury chances. Again, this is an American thread, and if American YS owners want to complain, it is absolutely their right to do so.
4) I continue to call it all hypocritical because most owners still actually play friendlies with their kids for training. If you're not playing corner tactics for every friendly through age 21, honestly you're doing it wrong and have little right to gripe about a one off here.

what a fool you are! acting like a little child... Injuries are a very common part of the game. No need to reply with insults.
& if you only have two top mid's then you should have substituted one or both out when you took the lead.. You new ahead of the game the pitch condition, yet YOU chose to keep your weak mid's in the game... That was your coaching mistake.. blaming others and trying to take the high moral ground in doing so... Shows your true character.. You're the bully here.. make no mistake about it.
Grow up.. and stay on your side of the pond.. stop crying like a little baby..!! you made a coaching mistake.. and you want to blame everyone else over taking responsibility for your own decisions. With your lack of foresight, and poor coaching decisions.. you never had a chance to win the cup anyhow... so stop making excuses.. and prove yourself on the pitch.. period.

For all USA users:
In previous match USA U21 - France U21 I decided to play on a low pitch. Two players from USA U21 team was from my team so ... I took a risk. Considering that USA U21 can no longer qualify for the world championship, all the next matches will be played on good pitch.
For Thomas Shelby:
congratulations for the victory and I wish you good luck. I'm sorry about the injury your player suffered, that wasn't my intention :))
