Honestly, I thought it was a great game to watch. Lots of back and forth play - very wide open. Big credit to my GK Ace (yes, that's his name!) Sayers for stopping one PK and at least one breakaway, and to my sub forward Guy Hubbard for setting up both goals with beautiful crosses. We were living dangerously there for a while - especially after the second red card - but the defense held, and we now get to compete in the semis of the US Cup for the first time ever.

I was really hoping for a matchup with Ravens (especially after we tied 3-3 last year in A.04), but as the lowest seed left I get to play KY Cats. I hope barndog is willing to share his secrets for beating them last year! :)

Good luck it would be nice to have someone else win the Cup. You deserve a lot of credit for beating my team despite being down to 9 men.

I played 4 of my major league players in this game, 2 defenders and 2 midfielders.

Lakay, good prediction on the KY vs. Havoc game. Although I think I may have helped you along by giving up another TWO red cards!! :) I've got to give Matteo a talking to - that's two reds in two cup matches for him.

Frankly, I'm a little suprised that KY didn't score more, especially with effectively two defenders gone. Maybe I can credit my GK for that! :)

I'd like to thank my players for an amazing cup run this year. Beating KY was always going to be a herculean task. But my little ragtag home-grown team showed that they can play with the best and at least hold their own.

BTW, the most interesting statistic of the game for me can't be found in the match. I think it's the total transfer money paid by each team for their players.

Cats played a better team against you than he did against his previous league opponent. He did outshot you 22:1 but 3:0 is a respectable loss.

Use this defeat as a gauge to find out what you need to be at the top of the ML. One common mistake is to only look at your league to measure your team. You must also look at other A-leagues and the Major league so you can set your goals properly.
