Ahh, i see. Yes, but that wouldn't be any different if the friendly league was split 50/50, you're still playing lower league teams if you join a cup with lower league teams. Or if you want to always play at home, you obviously couldn't do this in a league where the game schedules it for you... ?

You would have to send out challenges manually for home games (or in this case, away games to better teams).
And no fla21667, no Polish jokes here. They only 'own' Sokker so I used them as an example. My understanding is that their country is the best.
More then anything else, I just don't see the point behind switching from split income to home and away income in Cups, versus friendlies.
It's like in HA when low level teams keep asking upper level teams for friendlies so they can get more money then they would otherwise playing someone their own level. Why? Because the money's split evenly opposition regardless.
I just think thats the way friendly cups should be. Just like existing friendlies are.
Not really a MAJOR issue for me (although its fun using it as an excuse to trash talk back to JnA and all :) ) but I just find it odd that they'd do this.

This is my 2nd season in B. Finished 2nd last season after promoting from C.
Hoping to build my stadium this season, but can't figure how to do it without revenue ..... but I have no control over ticket prices .. that is something that needs to be changed. I need lots of benches, I guess.

Your gate is affected by how popular you and your opponent are. Actually, I think it is more realistic than HA that way - no professional sports teams (other than a few baseball teams) juggle their prices from game to game (at least until the playoffs).
If you keep doing well, you'll fill your stadium. I've been reading that a 2-1 ratio benches to seats is probably close the the right amount, although erring closer to 1-1 is better because bench people will sometimes buy seats.
