Depends on what your promotion situation is. If you're going to promote, or you're in a series with established teams that probably have higher sponsor payments, then I don't think 40k is too much.
come on it is too much
i pay 50k and im in the b league and it is alot......

Well, I pay $62k in coaches salaries, and that's maybe $15k more than I was paying when I started. I also promoted my first two seasons, and haven't made any major non-trainee player purchases until recently.
Wow I only have 23-24k in coaches, I must be doing something wrong heh.

the main coach should be unearthly in the skill you're training plus high lvl in the secondaries that go along with that type of training (ex. unearthly in PM and unearthly in tech and pace, thts my main coach for ex he's form and i pay 13k for him). paying 15 and 14 for ex. is too much you're losing about 10k a week because of that. Find some ex for about 8k or formidables for 10-12k
btw for the assistants its better to have three decent than one really good

I'm paying 69k for coaches, just out of curiousity anyone in A leagues is this about the amount you guys pay?
formidable for a junior coach is ok i guess someone else would know more about how much new people can spend, personally i have an incredible coach whose wage is 25k, but his wage is good for a form. For a junior coach all that matters is his overall ability (ex. excellent, form, etc) it doesn't matter what his individual stats are, so pick what kind you want like an outstanding or something and then find the cheapest one
PS the lower his skill in goalkeeping the cheaper he usually is

wow...
I've only recently upgraded to 32k/week in coaches. Between that and players I'm going to come close to bankrupt though before I hopeuflly find a player to sell.
I've got an 11k HC (specific to my training routine), 7.5k excellent juniro coach, and 13k in 3 assistants - 2 VG and 1 solid.
