I could not find this in the rules, is there a home field advantage, other than income? If so, how does it impact play? Thanks.

The key thing here is not at the moment, there may be some sort of home advantage in the not too distant future though.

in future there may be a champions league with all polish first league teams plus the austrian national team plus all national first league winners, but not mcoi;-)

I'm not too crazy about that Idea. How do you prepare for something like this? I spend a great deal of time studying my opponents and preparing tactics every week. How do I preare for something like home field advantage.

I can't psychologicaly influence my players. I tried yelling at them like Fro does and it didn't work for me.

It's what greg said. The match engine is definitely changing, although nothing is confirmed as to what it will feature.

NT friendlies are trialling some potential new features in the next version of the match engine.

i just don´t like, that things that may or may not be implemented are mixed with facts. the question was precisely answered. no need for rumors like that.
if, and i would really appreciate that, you know some things, i would love to see some comments in the bugs ideas forum. there hundreds of pple are presenting the same million ideas every week without any feedback. i wonder, how they can still do their "thinking".
would be really nice to have some "most likely to be implemented" thread, where normal users profit from mod rumors;-)

If you read the sokker international thread, you'd know about 97% as much as us.

If a mod says it's likely, the odds are he saw greg say it and posted that to answer your question. Because you didn't notice when/if greg said it doesn't mean it's a rumor.

Just reading the post on the opening page about the cup changes makes me think that a home field advanatage is in the works. Why else whould you match up teams that way?

would just be nice to collect this wisdom and write it down in a special thread "things that greg said" and/or "things that somebody has seen greg said" and so on.

Home field advantage makes sense. It happens in RL, so why not here?

well how would it work? we dont have player experience here, so it would be pretty subjective..

Could be something like if you play home your players got extra 10% skills bonus (or you if you play away your players skills are 10% less effective)

i said 10%, could be any % ^_^
