we were in the same league last saeson, played him 2 times, and lost both, 3-1 and 2-0

Enough with the bragging already. I should play you both and beat you like 30-1, but that would be boring. So I won't.
*shrug* put us on an even scale and see how we'd do.
Seriously, this entire experience has been half boring(the lack of competition) and half aggravating (the ridiculous harshness of the economic system for new teams).
I'm simply promoting a friendly to see who the best team in C league is.
Does it matter to you A and Major league teams? No. Then again, you guys play matches of consequence at least once a week. You have people to buy and sell.
I have neither.
Moreover, this forum's been a morgue of late, so I'm just stirring the pot, hoping to bring some interest back in the game. if you hadn't noticed, Vondocah's brother (the guy I'm playing) is clearly the same way, as he hasnt been watching over his team all that much. Maybe now he will.
Don't you worry, head start or not, I'll do my best to make my mark in the upper leagues as finances permit.
I was already telling Guac I'll probably sandbag a season (if I am in a position to win my division next season) in B league simply because there's virtually no way I will have the money to hang in A league going back to back.
The youth school program here is yet another ridiculous economic drain on the new player's economy here. Even managed 'properly' you get to wait a good 20-35 weeks to get any prospect you MIGHT be able to sell to recoup some of the hundreds of thousands you spent along the way. money you struggled to come up with.
The whole ecomonic system here sucks,isn't new user friendly at all, and I'm strongly speculating it's why 2/3 of all the HA people Guac and I specifically recruited over here didn't stick with the sim longer then a month. It's what a couple of said friends have told me, in any event.
I've been on the verge of quitting myself, a couple times this season...but Guac manages to talk me out of it.
If it weren't for the robust tactical engine and cool game sims, this would just be another inconsequential soccer sim on the sim sports radar.
So that's what is at the core of some of this. My growing ambivalence with this sim. There's very little fun n it presently, so I'm fabricating some.

I fabricated a doo doo. And that helped me enjoy this game 10 fold. It was a struggle setting up tactics while in a state of constipation.
I can imagine...but I'd rather not, to be honest :)
Don't quit. Promote. The competition gets stiffer.

Week 16. I almost wish I didnt have a friendly in week 15 so then I could include two more teams in this thing :)
But alas, I won't be one of the top 4 teams in B league next year, thats for sure :) So it won't be an issue next season.

Last season was my first full season. Auto promoted to B and I've all but clinched the title this season.(as long as I dont lose by 4 next week)

Dagwood: A lot will depend on the draw of your league. Some B leagues have 2 or even 3 legitimate teams in them..others just 1.
I havent looked at your league in particular, just sayin'.
I honestly don't think its a bright idea to get promoted to A in 2 seasons.
Why? No money.

Also, you'll likely get flogged, lose supporters, and drop back down to B. Promoting when you are ready to compete is MUCH better than promoting and getting your butt kicked.
