don't keep any player that will not reach "very good" unless he has a 4 wk/pop talent.

the adequate 5's and 7's are trash.

You should (manually or through a tool) track their pops and see what they're predicted to be pulled at.

if it's not at least solid (for short durations) or vg (for 15+ durations) trash them.

In any case, i'm jealous, mine isn't nearly so good. The adequates with < 10 aren't worth the money it will take for them until they're pulled tho.

You have a bunch of guys that won't be worth anything when they come out. I'd cut:

Foor a player you pull with say like 30 plus weeks until he is ready, and let's say he is poor, how long would you hold him before you realize he is not going to hit a useable level? 3 weeks? 4? 5? or just cut bait? Thanks.

Personally, I will keep even a hopeless youth for a couple of weeks.

A poor youth with 30 plus weeks, I would probably keep them at least 2 weeks to see if they will pop. And then see if they will pop again within 5.

I have a shortage of youths, so I'll take what I can get.

Thanks, I have a shortage too, do you and it seems some others do too, you think that maybe they changed the YS "population" process? I had 3 bevome available 2 weeks ago, and now I do not have one for 8 more weeks. Really large (and not so much fun) gap.

It's just luck. I probably have just about the worst of any active manager of my time with the game around...

I've not heard mention of any changes to the population process.
