Subject: Training Question

I brought up a 16 year old from my YS and decided to train playmaking for him.
He's played in five matches for me since 9/28 and has already been bumped up twice in playmaking (from Weak to Adequate). Does that make sense?

[Rationalization: I figured since I had a training slot open and he was 16, maybe i'd give him a shot for a few seasons to see what level I could get his PM up to]

yeah that's not too unreasonable for a player with a bit of talent and a low skill level.

How long was he in your juniors for?

To tell the truth, I don't exactly know. :(

Shame on you for not using Sokker Manager.

Looks like he's likely got a bit of talent so those pops are quite reasonable like I said.

Hey MJ, my players with GOOd talent (4 weeks a pop in Junior school with incredible coach) at low level skill normally needs 2 weeks training for pop with unearthly coach in that skill!!!

So yes, looks like that Youngster has a good talent!!!

LOL, the original poster is a sponsor. He shouldn't need Sokker manager to track pops. The PLUS will do it for him, he just has to look :)
2006-10-26 20:52:28
plus just shows you the last 11 weeks.
2006-10-26 21:01:55
Yeah, but if he forgot to check when the player was in the Junior team, Sokker manager is the only answer!!!

to the other poster the last 11 weeks for a junior are enough to check the talent of a player!!^_^

^_^

Yeah, I forgot what he was like in my YS. I think he only got 1 pop there anyway if any.

LOL, if he forgot to check his junior team, then its his own stupidity/fault, to be honest :)

That being said, Sokker Manager would bail him out of that dilemna.

Very possible, high talent and the skill levels are low!
2006-10-27 02:12:06
tengo asked for how long;-)
anyhow, 11 weeks could be too short in some cases. imagine someone who popped like -----/-----. 6 weeks with an excellent coach does not necessarily mean he is untalented.

but youve had a 3 month window to make a mental note of that
