Lol....as u know I reached 1125 supporters and I have been lossing supporters since. Saying that, I had very poor results which might contribute to it. I also did not get many new supporters even though I kept on winning and doing well....any other experiences with that?
Supporters also depends on level of competition. If you were to beat really bad teams over and over, your supporters could decrease. Whereas tying or even losing to a ML team would gain supporters.
I get it, at the same time is there a limit for supporters? I have been in Division B for 3 years now and although I was winning (beating teams in my league) I got maybe 5 supporters at the best case.
well beachmont is qualifying against legend who has no players or money left so you wont have to worry about her next season. hope the 7-0 didnt drop the supporter level more than one for you
mmm...I lost 13 supporters because of this game. Beachmont is an awesome team and they deserve to be in a higher league. Although 7:0 is not a close game I did miss 3 starting midfielders....in this pace by the end of next season i will be the only supporter of my team...
Supporters are controlled by the level of the opposition. So if you're not getting better opposition (league, # supporters, etc), you will indeed plateau.
Roy, worst part is there's no next game for a while to calm down your pissed fans.

How does the game determine level of opposition? By league and rank in series, By total avg marks per team, by time in the game, etc...?
Or would that be just speculation on the actual way this is determined?
The reason I ask is because I have been on a steady increase of supporters throughout my first season in B just completed. This while recording 3 loses and a draw while winning the rest of my league matches.

Actually, i really like that.
How many AHL hockey teams have higher fan levels than the NHL teams, even the poor ones? It makes utter sense.
I believe the level of opposition is determined thru a combination of supporters for the opponent and the league level.

Well, if you look at soccer in America, The first division teams such as rochester NY has way more fans than some of the best MLS teams. Same in Europe some Division one teams has more supporters than Premiership teams.
Yeah, that's based on the city or locale and factors like that.
That'd be REALLY unfair, basing popularity on something random like where the team was given as the location.

I disagree, from my experience most of the rural places have nothing else around them and the town soccer club is the biggest attraction of town. As soon as there is a game the all town comes over and watches the game. Look at the Tampa Bay Mutiny and Miami Fusion (ex-MLS teams) they barely got 5-10 thousands fans a game while Rochester is filling their stadium with 20,000 fans every home game.
I didn't say it was based on who has the largest city, i said it was based on location.
