Team-work has been set to the lowest possible value for every player (but don't worry - it's trained very fast). Within a few weeks it should equalize near your head coach's general appraisal.
Not sure I can see why Team-Work can't be pre-calculated before the new engine is in place like XP has been.
This will mean that the players true TD will not be known until a few of weeks into the season, which could mean the difference between a successful or non-successful season for some teams.
In this respect I would have to agree with islander1 that a bit of random could be devestating, but the overall general complaint he has about TD I can't fully agree with until it has been seen in full force.

You have a few games - get it up.

Looks like a great new addition that will definitely add some more realism to Sokker.
It's going to make it tough moving up to the ML as most of the players up there will have higher tactical discipline than my team. But they should have since they've been around longer.

I understand the fact that it will come up and that all players will start at the same TW level.
What I can't understand is that it was not pre-calculated like XP has been pre-calculated based on games played. Obviously the historical data is there for these pre-calculated stats, but not to determine Team Work?
Please don't get me wrong and assume that I am complaining about it. Just questioning why historical data could not be used to calculate TW before implementation.

experience is slow, i'd assume by the way greg worded it that team work will get to basically coach's value within a month or so.
I'd say that the reason this can't be done easily is it's based on the coach and game time each week. I don't know if the way to tie coach to played minutes each week (coaches change often for some teams) is trivial. I guess he just figured everyone's in the same boat with it, you have 2 weeks to improve it mebbe half way to maximum value. Go and strategize who to play in offseason accordingly.

Any insight as to what tactical dicipline levels are equivalent to? In other words, would a player have to have divine overall tactical dicipline to play the same way they always have been? or is it capped at something like formidable like stamina is

So if team work could be bril or magical or whatever, i can assume exp can go over formid etc, it doesn't make sense if one uses the full range the others wouldn't.

right, but maybe after a certain level it would just be overkill and not make a difference. having to have divine TD would be ridiculous, seeing how divine general appraisal coaches dont even exist
and any thoughts on us being able to see other players from other teams TD? I think it should be a hidden stat just like the 8 attributes

It's considered more like form...
And imho it's more sensible that you can see TD than form anyway...
Think about it, if you had a scout on your team looking at opposition, it'd be easy for him to figure it out. It's based on weeks with a team, and overall match info.

well you dont know what their coach is like, and they would make more money if you had to have plus to actually visually scout
seems to me this helps out the teams that have been around longer..and can afford better then solid head coaches.
