Subject: "tactical dicipline"

I did recognize that after the original announcement and subsequent responses on the Global thread and then seeing the announcement amending it this morning.

I just know not to set my expectations too high. This way, no real disappointment will be felt if it does fall on deaf ears.

I still thing its retarted.

I read the news and I did not think it was so bad.

Experience should matter and having players respecting the assigned tactic is a good thing.

You didn't miss anything. People aren't complaining much that it doesn't make sense...

most of the complainers are due to not wanting realism because they like the power of the tactics editor and don't want to dilute it.

Or, at least, that's most of the complaints that aren't just short-sighted or purely whining.

The change isn't going to affect you one bit, Lakay. Don't worry.

I don't believe tactical dicipline is going to matter as much as everybody thinks.

At first I thought it was going to be terrible. But using the formula (experience + team work) / 2, most players will have at least decent tactical dicipline. Though people with less than formidable head coaches will want to get a better coach as soon as they can afford it.

I think we should at least wait till week 4 of next season before everybody starts quitting the game. At least give me a chance to play my tactically superior players in the cup against the lower level teams :P

LOL yes. It'll be a long time before I'm able to afford such a head coach.

Stupid youth school...if I just shut it down for good I could actually break even some weeks...

Keep in mind that the increase from tragic to weak is much more powerful than the increase from formidable to incredible. After team work "equalizes" to your head coaches skill level, your players might all be around the weak-average level. But that might be enough for them to at least player your tactics loosely.

Later on you are going to want to get a better coach anyways and as a result your players' tactical dicipline will go up. So I do not think it will be as big a deal as everybody thinks.

As it is now, you will only play against upper level teams in the cup, so that will be the only place you are really hurt.

BTW, my coach is only incredible :(

I tried and tried to get a magical, but never could get one.

yeah, Guacamole was telling me we don't know if the ranks are all linear, or if its actually closer to what you suggest.

My present coach is solid (trains a couple categories in unearthly), and I had some real misfortune as one guy I was planning to sell next season early on got injured last week...so no critical training in time.

The YS...meh, I don't doubt it'll produce some money, but I do suspect it won't be next season...

Until then, the money situation is going to be ugly.

Guac, can you suggest that tactical discipline be viewable on the player list? It's kind of a hassle scrolling down and click every single player to see what it's at.

Hmmm, something was definetly wrong in todays matches. My team didnt play as well, goalies were being realy dumb, ( i scored a goal from almost a half field lob, and dribbled one over), and the worst, were the Offsides. There was like 10 offsides in my match, and like 9 of them shud not even happaned.
