Hmmm, something was definetly wrong in todays matches. My team didnt play as well, goalies were being realy dumb, ( i scored a goal from almost a half field lob, and dribbled one over), and the worst, were the Offsides. There was like 10 offsides in my match, and like 9 of them shud not even happaned.

i had no offsides in my game, and my goals were incredible. The first was off a pass to my striker near the goal from my striker outside the box. Next was a penalty rebound, where in previous engines would have been picked up by the keeper as my player ran the ball to him. Then I had a header from a free kick, giving my striker a hattrick. Next came a free kick, with my striker heading it ahead to another striker, who scored. And finally, a goal from multiple shots, with the final being a pass from about 10 yards below the goal to the penalty marker, with a perfect shot to the back of the net.

After the first goal in todays match I am scared. If you have plus you should watch it.

Basically, my opponents defender (labeled as mid for cross training) got possession of the ball, and basically dribbled it into his own goal from 12 yards out. He is a pretty decent player, but horrible TD.... Im going to be so angry if the poor teamwork messes up my team for the first weeks of next season, they are really important mataches

I had no strange stuff. I did have another free kick wall, too, that was neat.

I did also have a lot of offsides, but nothing blatantly wrong. Interestingly enough, i thought i had a lot of offside misscalls with the previoius engine on the weekend.

I had a defender out of position on an opponent's free kick, and it cost us a goal. But as my trainees were playing D it's not a surprise. I didn't see anything strange from any of my starters that played. They may have been off a step here and there, but nothing serious.

It looked much more like real soccer to me today.

Btw, with the offsides thing...

Greg once said somewhere that it was a visualization thing...

Ie the player actually isn't offsides based on the coordinates in the engine, but when it's animated it appears that way...

(of course the "ie" part is my definition, he'd never say anything that took away from the "magic" of the viewer ;)

I had a couple of these type incidents in my match. One for my opponent who's defender just dribbled the ball over the touchline. One for me when my defender dribbled the ball over the endline.

Could this be attributed to low PM skill?

Fro, that didn't happen because of TD, it is a strange goal indeed.

[Sorry if this bother YOU]

I went to check your first half of today game, just because you are not the first to "complain" about off-sides.
A player is in offside when in front of him he has 1 opponent player (normally the keeper) at the moment of the PASS from a team mate, not when he receive the PASS.
I recorded the minutes of the offside in your first half game.
When you know that the pass it's going to happen just click PAUSE (suggest to click play and pause 'till you got the exact moment of the pass) and check the position of the intended receiver (sound like NFL ^_^):every offside of your game (first half) were right: no mistakes. At the end this is a computer simulation and there's no way there will be OFFSIDE mistakes like in real life Soccer where the referee and his assistants has to check the moment of the PASS with one eye, and where the intended receiver is with the other eye!!

minute 12
minute 29
minute 33
minute 37
minute 40

On minute 41 there's a good way to show how OFFSIDE trap sometimes doesn't work.

As i say at the beginning , i'm sorry if this post bother you!! ^_^

EDIT: some mistakes.^_^
