Subject: Friendly League schedule question

Who is in charge of a friendly league schedule? There will be more than 8 teams in my league so I cannot rely on regular league pattern. I would like to have my say on it, but if it is automatic how does it look like. Does anybody remember? I assume 1st fixture must be
2 vs 1 10 vs 9
4 vs 3 12 vs 11
6 vs 5 14 vs 13
8 vs 7 16 vs 15
But what then?
2 vs 1 10 vs 9
4 vs 3 12 vs 11
6 vs 5 14 vs 13
8 vs 7 16 vs 15
But what then?
That is a good question. I do know that you have no control over the scheduling. But I have no clue how the schedule is determined.
I have assumed that the host plays teams 2 through 16 in a consecutive order. Later I'll post the information on how my theory worked in practice.
Another Q for those who are more experienced:
Do you guys know what happens to the teams that made themselves available for multiple friendly leagues? If more than one of such leagues start the same week what is the deciding factor on which league they are assigned to? Is it the originator’s time zone perhaps or one simply wouldn’t be able to choose the team that’s already assigned to inactive league even though they still have all Wednesdays available?
I don’t want to waste a week if I was to choose “the wrong” team.

Whoever starts their friendly league first would get you. It'd be very very rare for two to begin at the exact same second
Rare but not impossible.
I am the one who starts the league and I need to avoid the situation when the team of my choice ends up in another league at the same time, which leaves me with odd number of teams, my league does not get activated and no time to schedule a friendly for Wednesday.

OK, I have just completed my league.
1 - you have no control over the schedule, even if you try to accept teams in certain order it does not matter - the computer decides what position in the table they start from.
2 - you cannot include the teams that are already taken, but once you choose a team and activate the league their participation is guaranteed.
