i went up 1-0 over medfest, and he came back to tie it up a few minutes later.

Went into extra time, and he scored in a one on one with my keeper at 107'. Pretty good game. I was hoping it would go to PKs though, because I might have had a good chance.

Lumen over Yo Mama 6-0, though I expected a closer match.

Yo Mama did a good tactical job of marking Josh Abshire, but he got loose a few times ... 4 goals for the NT forward.

Wonder which Major League team I'll lose to next week?

Enforcers win 3-1, with half our first team and half reserves. My new striker purchase gets 2 goals and an assist in his first match.

Actually, here's another beef with the game (albeit a minor one).

Why the heck does my team keep getting to be home, when it's clearly the lower seed?

Spocker's team is clearly superior to mine, and he could have made us both sooo much more money.

Now I play 3.com strike force of A02, and instead of getting a fat payday out of my team's drubbing , I get a measley 8k because my team is 'home' for some ass backwards reason.

They have this same stupidity in Hockey Arena, and it drives me nuts.

Your result over Spocker makes me feel a little better about my chances against him, when they come up in league play. I'm hoping to be a top 4 team, and I have him as one of the teams who would probably finish ahead of me.

Games are always att he arena of the weaker team. HA i think alternates or something goofy like that?

I bet this all started from HT where the weaker team is given home-field advantage.

At the end of the day i agree with you, it should be at the stronger team's arena for revenue.

If I ever got home matches in the cup I would have invested in my stadium a lot more a very long time ago =)

I always cut it really close in cup games trying to keep up with the training schedule, theres a higher chance ill get knocked out in an earlier round this year because instead of having a nice full set of 5 mid trainees, ive got a lot of recently bought players spread all around the field

I might go for the cup title this season, it's too early to decide.

I can't believe Lumen beat yo mama 6-0. I played Lumen in the first round and lost 1-0, and my team pretty much sucks. Should I start feeling more confident or did I just get some sokker luck....btw, I have changed my defensive tactics a bit because I was getting burned way to often by strikers wide open.

Maybe YoMama played reserves, but I don't think so.
The speed of his defenders didn't keep up with my forwards, so they were quite free to advance the ball toward the goal and shoot.
YoMama did a good job of checking Josh Abshire, though .. he didn't get many direct passes early in the game, but made up for it by quick shots when passes did come.
Next Cup round, my Lumen team should get crushed, as I'm playing Stickmen from A-league.

Stickmen is run by a pansy pushover. You'll do fine.
