Typically, your 1st string trainees are going to be more advanced, and, most likely, older.

I still cannot believe that my team won today. I had my standard 5 strikers with the MID order plus 3 starting defenders and two subs starting the match. In minute 2 one of the subs got red carded so I had to play a man down. I didn't get to see the ball much at all in the first half due to Raven's dominance. But for some reason either my defenders would get a lucky tackle or his strikers would miss.

Then I brought in 3 starters in minute 40 and things started to look a bit better, but still the score remained 0-0. That's when the clock struck minute 47. Bye bye Raven central defender, hello 5 quick goals.

All in all, it was a match I should not have won.

We have only played once in our history and it was a 1-1 tie. My team and tactic is much improved so I am hoping for a good result.
