Subject: He passes... He Scores!!!

My left back just put a 60 yard pass into the back of the net, it was pretty sweet.

Anyway, on the related note, that was his 3rd great through ball in about as many minutes, but I noticed he didnt get the assist on the previous goal, is it because the guy dribbled with it after he received the pass? If so perhaps that rule should be changed, because the goal happened because of the pass, the striker really had little to do, which should be by the book the definition of getting an assist, no?

Was there a defender close who touched it?

I have had passes count as assists after my forward dribbles with it and shoots.

Yea, looks like it just hit a defender before the forward latched on to it. boo, he should get it anyway.
