How important is the whole stamina thing? is there somebody that experienced both good and bad stamina?
I have a young team and train pace, dont want to loose training bc of stamina.
in the last game of the season, most likely the winner will win the league.
Should i continue to train pace, or go for stamina the last couple of weeks?
6 of my starters have stamina below average.
thanks.

train stamina for a couple weeks during the off-season.
Also train pace to an extent but as a young team you need to focus on training complete players:
Either Midfielders, Strikers, defenders or keepers.
Your financial breakthrough will come from selling trainees and pace alone (as well as any skill by itself, even primary skills) is not worth much.

I just would like to say my opinion also:)

Of course I have experienced, low stamina reduces you players` skills during the match. For example I sold one of my mids ,because he had only "poor" stamina. That player was able to play first 20-30 min quite normally, but after that he started to go worse.

Stamina isn`t as "bad" and unuseful as you think. You told you have 6 starters who have stamina below average. For example in my team such players would play only first half. It doesn`t matter how good the player is.

so fixing the stamina for the last game would be more beneficial, than continue pace training?
i need to get out of b-league :)

Yes, If I were you I would train Stamina for next 3 weeks. Or would start to train stamina couple of weeks before your important match. Players` stamina should be at at least very good imo.

I agree with Vilpu: if you play in a competitive league, like most B are becoming in the USA, stamina can make a difference on winning games...^_^
I think most of my success in the short career so far should be credited to good stamina. Over the period of time I have noticed how the team became much effective without any significant pops in other categories. Vilpu is right. It is a huge difference maker in second halves - 2 times in B-League this season I was trailing by 2 goals only to come back and win and it did not look like coincidence.
The only drawback of training stamina for me is the overpriced value of players which contributes to much higher salary than it should be when the new season starts.

"Much higher salary than it should be?" How could that be? You just got finished saying that stamina significantly increased their performance. So I guess the game should allow you to significantly increase your players' performance without having to pay extra salary for it?
The problem I have with stamina vs salary is the fact that stamina can descrease while salary cannot. So over the years it can contribute to a nice overestimation in player's value, because you have to train it to retain status quo.
Are you sure that salary cannot go down? I have not paid much attention to my players' salaries because it does not affect me very much, but I would think they could go down. Maybe somebody with some really old players can confirm this. As a player's skill drops I would think his salary would decrease.
Also I do not think that you would get an "overestimation" over time. I do not believe that if a player's stamina were to drop, you would be penalized for bringing it back up.

I am not sure of many things yet and still learning the game through my mistakes.
I didn't think salary can go down, can anyone confirm?
My first and only salary change in between seasons went up over 100 percent, but if you're right, Billy, perhaps there is no reason to be panicking. Good news!

You will start to see that your players' salaries do not affect your team very much. Your coaches salaries will be much more important.
My highest salary is a 27 yo that has a value over 550k and two skills over incredible. The salary is only $5600.

My coach is brilliant of stamina, and I have not had a single stamina decrease with him yet. And i've had several random stamina pops.
