Subject: Cosmos Streak Ends At 26

Last night the Cosmos tasted defeat for the first time in their career [in league play], falling to the talented Long Island Proghorns 2-1 on the road.

The Cosmos franchise was founded 6 months ago.

Over the course of this streak, the team had 22 wins and 4 draws.

I'm really impressed with my performance this season because my team isn't exactly talented. My defense is C league caliber. In fact, its that awful defense that led to the first goal I surrendered 6 minutes into last night's game. It ended up being my demise. My forwards are barely B league, both having modest striking skill and speed.

Still, I'm disappointed because if I could have gotten out of this one, I was a pretty safe bet to finish the season undefeated as I had 2 CPU teams left of my three matches.

Time to start another streak!

Duly noted. In other news, I've got an itchy rash on my heinie and I'm not sure where it came from.

A very nice streak, Islander. Anybody correct me if I’m wrong but Manchester City USA has the longest undefeated league streak now in USA at 30.
My team, New England Revolution is claiming 5th longest streak at this moment, trailing only to Manchester City USA (30), Red Dragons FC (22), High Tops and Pele’s 11 (both 21).
New England Revolution franchise is about 2 month younger than yours and we are still to lose our first league game ever. Although it is not the best of teams yet Revs have somehow managed to remain unbeaten in 18 games (I don’t count Qualification Matches).
If I don’t get promoted this season I will be aiming at beating your record.

wow, 30 in a row for my boy Fla21667. Thats good work. The question is, did he go undefeated those 30 in a row from the start of his career?

I'm kinda hoping for the record of most league games gone undefeated from franchise birth, myself :)

Oh, and hogweed: I know what you're going through. I saw you have a lot of draws. A similarly skilled team. Good luck keeping it going my man :)

I ran into a 36.6 rated team. Managed to beat him 2-0 earlier in the season, but no such luck this time around.

Honestly, I was expecting to finish third in my league. Now, I'm a lock for second, and if that same team that beat me wins next week I'll be back in first (I play a CPU team)

Ratings are meaningless, Gesior is a monster on the wings.

I can't wait to see how the new match engine will affect Gesior's performance. From what I read Fro will have a tough time with his tactic.

he is a really good center mid. he was injured for 21 days recently, and his understudy ziemba stepped up to the plate and has done a decent job. Ziemba will be just as good in less than a season, and way better by the time he is as old as obreski

he MAY get another start if the title race comes down to the last game
